Works and no problems
Worked with Ideal Standard Studio WC Donut thicker than original so needed to tighten the two screw clamps fixing cistern to bowl. Could be a problem if you have a fixed inlet pipe

Quite thick - perfect replacement and after tightening up the fittings immediately, it immediately stopped the leak.

Better than expected
Thought it was the wrong one at first, but after fitting seems better than the flat foam one that was originally fitted.Will order again if needed..Recommended..

Just the Job
If this is the right part for your pan and cistern, older Ideal and American Standard definitely use this, then the product will be perfect at forming a water-tight seal. The ring is 110mm outer diameter and 80mm internally. I expect this will last the 25+ years the last one did!!

This donut saved my bacon.
The doughnut supplied with the WC was practically useless. It gave the impression that all is well until you do an overflow test and sure enough the system leaked like a sieve. The replacement doughnut is a perfect fit and the rubber is soft enough to be tightly squashed between the cistern and the pan to ensure a perfect seal. Definitely recommend.
