Best quality - Aminos - Love them!!!
These are excellent quality Aminos. Peeps, they are UNFLAVORED, POWDER, and smell like ALL OTHER AMINOS. do not buy these if you want fruity flavored drink powder…. Bc this is not it. These are clean, have a variety of aminos, and mix well (compared to other brands). Some other brands I tried do not mix well at all! This one just needs a stir with ice. Sometimes just leave it sitting for a couple minutes then stir it in easily. Let it soak in. You are using a potent amino powder that is so helpful to your body and body processes. Enjoy 😉🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 when I take these I don't have any sore muscles after workouts like no sore muscles. It makes everything work better. So good! It Works! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪

absolutely disgusting
I was torn between this product and another one that has a berry flavor. It is my fault that I didnt realize or fully process the fact that this is unflavored. I also didn’t read the reviews. I wanted a way to take aminos that did not involve a protein shake. Just wanted something I could put in water. I have tried several different ways of taking this and each way is foul. Put it in a flavored shake with frozen fruit, gross. Orange juice gross. Of course it’s non refundable. I will not buy this again. I will buy the berry flavored one next time. I cannot speak to the benefits because I’ve only taken it 3 times. I dread taking it.

Terrible tasting. No other choice but to down it down with a straw.
This product would be great product if it was tasteless or flavored like vanilla. Unfortunately the only way you can down without tasting it, is with a straw- drink it fast. When first arrived, mixed the scoop in my smoothie-Big mistake!! Next mixed it with water TERRIBLE- No other choice - Drank it down with a straw.

Great product
This is a great product. It does not have a taste or flavor so you can add it to your drinks over your coffee in the morning. People keep telling me I look 10 Years younger already. It has had an amazing effect on the smoothness of my skin and I notice an improvement with joint stiffness. This is well worth the money and I will also be looking into some of the other products this company sells.

The taste is normal, folks!
I see lots of complaints about taste and blendability here and so I must assume that this is the first powdered and unflavored amino acid supplement many have used. For those of us who’ve used similar products in the past, I think it’s safe to say that most of them taste awful and don’t mix well. It’s just the nature of the beast, folks. My suggestion, if you are struggling with the taste and otherwise happy with the formulation, is to try the capsules and skip loose powder amino acids. I’ve purchased the same Codeage supplement in capsules and it was great! I accidentally ordered the powder because Amazon suggested it was time to reorder and I stupidly didn’t look close enough at the description. Upon opening the new container I was pretty disappointed because I know full well how gross amino acid supplements taste. Anyways, it is what it is, and I’ll use it up. It’s really best to straight shot it in a little bit of water rather than trying to sip it. Then chase it with a full glass of plain water.I think Codeage is a good brand and their products seem to be relatively clean so I wouldn’t give up on them just because you don’t like the taste of this one. Any unflavored amino acid powder is going to taste horrible. Secondly, I’m not a body builder, just an older gal interested in staying fit. There’s a great review on here about this not being a good supplement for people trying to put on muscle mass and I recommend you read that persons review if that’s what you’re in to.

Inedible
Worst tasting supplement I’ve ever tried to consume. And I’ve tried a lot. I really wish I could get my money back. This was impossible for me to get down, the taste was so terrible.

Helps my workouts and recovery!
There are nine essential amino acids, each of which performs a number of important jobs in your body:Phenylalanine. Your body turns this amino acid into the neurotransmitters tyrosine, dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. It plays an integral role in the structure and function of proteins and enzymes and the production of other amino acids (7).Valine. This is one of three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) on this list. That means it has a chain branching off from one side of its molecular structure. Valine helps stimulate muscle growth and regeneration and is involved in energy production (8).Threonine. This is a principal part of structural proteins, such as collagen and elastin, which are important components of your skin and connective tissue. It also plays a role in fat metabolism and immune function (9).Tryptophan. Often associated with drowsiness, tryptophan is a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates your appetite, sleep, and mood (10).Methionine. This amino acid plays an important role in metabolism and detoxification. It’s also necessary for tissue growth and the absorption of zinc and selenium, minerals that are vital to your health (11).Leucine. Like valine, leucine is a BCAA that is critical for protein synthesis and muscle repair. It also helps regulate blood sugar levels, stimulates wound healing, and produces growth hormones (12).Isoleucine. The last of the three BCAAs, isoleucine is involved in muscle metabolism and is heavily concentrated in muscle tissue. It’s also important for immune function, hemoglobin production, and energy regulation (13).Lysine. Lysine plays major roles in protein synthesis, calcium absorption, and the production of hormones and enzymes. It’s also important for energy production, immune function, and the production of collagen and elastin (14).Histidine. Your body uses this amino acid to produce histamine, a neurotransmitter that is vital to immune response, digestion, sexual function, and sleep-wake cycles. It’s critical for maintaining the myelin sheath, a protective barrier that surrounds your nerve cells (15).

I was so excited. This is the worst tasting stuff Ever. I have taken alot of supplements in my day and endured some nasty things in the pursuit of health but this takes the cake. The thought of taking it makes me gag a little.
