It is measuring when it is near the anthena of my other mobile phone. I hope the day will not come to measure real nuclear radiation :)

Great little consumer device
Works surprisingly well for its size and price. Note the output is calibrated in dose (that is how much harm the radiation will do to a human) not in counts per minute (CPM) so other reviews saying the output readings are small - well in general a small dose is a good thing.

Works ok .... but ....
It works and does what it says it will do. But don't expect it to act like a full blown radiation detector. It cannot detect alphas, I suspect it isn't much better with betas, and its not very sensitive to gammas. But it works, and it will flag up gamma fields substantially greater than background. Its fun and I'm happy with it!
