Simply a brilliant product. Superb protective packaging. Easy, sure-fire assembly with no tools needed. Light in weight, easy to maneuver. Beautiful modern appearance. Completely silent in operation. No moving parts, not even switches, with nothing to replace - ever. Each light is controlled separately by touch controls with three levels each. The touch control for the task light has its own subtle glow feature. The led bulbs are cool to the touch and gentle on power consumption. Excellent brightness. Neutral white light. The task light support is strong, flexible and easy to manage, and it stays in place. The unit is very economical on space usage. This is working as a piano light for an upright piano with the top up. It may cost a bit more than some lamps, but a lot less than others, and IMO this is a terrific value. Five Stars.

It's okay .... Pros: Stylish, sleek, slim-line silhouette. Multiple, independent brightness settings for both lamps. Cons: The LED lighting is flatter than others. Turning it on with a switch always starts out in bright mode. It could be 4 inches taller. I'm a bit disappointed. Primarily in the LED light quality. My house is full of LED bulbs, and this lamp replaces an old torchiere lamp that had an LED bulb, but didn't have the reader. The light from this lamp is very flat. Not nearly as rich as other LED bulbs. It is similar to LED bulbs from 6 years ago. I wasn't expecting such poor quality light. There is a lag between when you flick the switch and when it illuminates, and I'm okay with that. But I'm a bit annoyed that it turns on at the brightest setting rather than an intermediate setting. We use this lamp in a sitting room where we want a bit of ambient light. We appreciate the availability of the bright setting, but we generally just want some light to illuminate the room so we need to go over to the lamp (behind the sofa) and use the switch to adjust the brightness. Then, next time we turn it on, it is on its brightest setting again. Surprised at all the positive reviews for a mediocre product. If it were $29.99 I'd be less disappointed, but it isn't worth the current asking price.

This was a good buy at the time for $54. Yeah, we found one of the cheaper version and bought it to save a buck. To its credit, it did last 4 ½ years. But it's a lamp that you should be able to move around without fear of tilting it more than 1 or 2 degrees of vertical. We had the exact same failure as others have described and photo'd. If it ever comes back on sale (and, let's face it, it's problem off Amazon for this very reason), I would recommend against it in favor of a sturdy variety that can stand a little action.

Cool looking light, pretty bright and useful addition to the room. Edit - picked up to move it and it snapped at joint, cheap fitting. The lamp itself was bad, The company lived up to the warranty and quickly made good on it !!!!

I was looking for a floor lamp that would light up the room and this did not disappoint. The assembly was fairly straight-forward. Just make sure you connect the wires that run through the inside of the poles as you are assembling it. The LED turns on and off with a touch-sensitive switch that allows you several ways to dim the light. The light at the top of the lamp is amazingly bright. There is also a reading lamp-type light that sticks out and that too is pretty intense. That is turned on by a touch-sensitive switch as well. Moreover, the lamp has a very small footprint. This is an excellent lamp that is very bright. If I had a need for more floor lamps, I would definitely consider getting another one of these again.

Bought 2 of these lamps and put them together when they arrived. They looked nice and the LED was very bright and exactly what I wanted. Now came the bad part, the lamp literally broke in half at the joint when I picked it up to move it. The threaded part of the cylinder where the reading lamp section was connected broke off and was stuck in the cylinder so there is no way to re-screw them back on. Both lamps broke at the exact same place so there is a definite defect in the lamp construction/design. I returned both lamps to Amazon for a refund and walked away like many other reviewers who had the same exact issue.

Just broke for the final time after seven years. The thing metal screw in snapped in half which meant as long as I was careful I had half of the threads to hold the lamp together. It finally got bumped and when it fell apart this time the electrical connection broke. Won’t be able to use the lamp at all unless I buy a new piece and solder it or someone mails me theirs (anyone got one? Lol) RIP lamp. I’d never buy one from them again but it was nice while it lasted. I used a wifi switch which is probably why it took so long to snap in half

Put together the lights with no problem. The stem of the lamp is smaller than I thought it would be. Base is heavy enough to be stable. A little modern looking, but they kind of "disappear" in my room. Brushed nickel finish is nice. Love the light they provide. We replaced our old torchere lamps that had led lightbulbs in them. This light is much more diffused and spreads throughout the room better. We like it on the second to the brightest setting, so it can go brighter or dimmer if we want. The light turns on with a touch pad on the side. 4 brightness settings. Very pleased with this purchase!
