I’ve been wanting a New bedside clock with “go to sleep” music and I saw this one. It has all the bells and whistles to say the least!Let me start with the basics; being it’s a great Alarm Clock. Nice large numbers so I can read it without my glasses. Also, it has several different levels of brightness which is nice. It’s also super easy to set up and the alarm feature works as it should. Add to that a battery backup and USB charger slotNext the music or soothing sounds to help you fall asleep. They have 4 buttons with a bunch of different sounds in each one. I think it’s around 40 different tunes. I haven’t tried them all but the white noise, rain, thunderstorm, wave and stream are all very soothing. Plus you can adjust the sound level to your liking. There’s also a nice timer feature that turns it self off. I usually set it at around 30 to 45 minutes, but it goes a lot longer if you want.Next the night light is a very cool feature that lights in a bunch of different colors.Bluetooth is also nice if you want to connect to an external speaker.Finally, it has a very reasonable price for all the different features. There’s also a nice discount coupon on amazon.

Bought for my granddaughters room. She loves the different colors and all the different sounds.

Love this clock!! The amount of sounds it has is amazing!! Volume is great! Light is great! Easy to use and has so many options! 2 alarms, a variety of sleep timers. Variety of sound’s and songs so anyone and everyone will find something they like! Also if it’s unplugged it saves the time! Took this on a trip and it was unplugged for several hours and when I plugged it in the time was perfect!!! Great product! Ended up buying 3

*UPDATE* Adding stars because the seller reached out and offered a refund or replacement since the one I got was faulty. It is a really great product so I'm glad they did what they could to make the experience better for me.I really liked it at first, tons of good sounds and the speakers are super clear. The first night I fell asleep listening to thunder (which was amazing) and the next morning woke up 20 minutes late because the alarm didn't make a sound. The light on top came on but there was no birds chirping like I expected. After some experimenting I figured out that the alarm doesn't fully work if you've set a timer on the sound machine noise. Works perfectly if you don't set a timer though.So now I have to choose between using it as a sound machine or an alarm unless I want it going all night long. Or do as my husband suggested and plug my old alarm clock in right next to this, which honestly defeats the purpose. Maybe I'll just give it to my kids.

What I didn't like about it: the buttons were hard to see. Night time was the worst. I had to turn on a light to see them.What I did like about it: compact. Very nice sound quality. Great choices of sound effects. Our great-grandson loved that it was a Bluetooth speaker! So you know who got my more complicated sound machine, and I ordered a different one!

I live in a noisy neighborhood with very rude people who leave their dogs out to bark at whatever hour pleases them. In the summer I'm not as bothered because I have an air conditioning window unit a couple feet away from my head, but for 10 months of the year I'm kept awake by barking. Sleep sounds on my phone would have to be blasting to drown that out, and that would keep me even more awake.I was leery about such a small sound machine being very effective, but this one is! It drowns out the dogs and whatever my husband is listening to or watching a few rooms away. I use one of the white noises (#6?), which sounds the closest to my AC. But I love the many nature options - I might use one of those in addition to my AC next summer. I love that this machine remembers what volume and setting I last used so I don't have to redo it every night.My only cons to this are just personal preferences, so I won't subtract stars: it would be nice if the light colors went in rainbow order instead of random. There is a rather large difference in volume between levels 3, 4, and 5, which is a shame because those are the volumes that are most optimal to me, so it's either slightly too loud or slightly too quiet. The other levels don't seem to have such noticeable jumps between them. The clock light is a very bright white light, so I have to keep the unit turned away from my face so it doesn't disturb my sleep. It would be good to have a button to control the brightness/warmth. My last con is the design of the unit itself. The spherical shape looks nice but is awkward to grab and turn, and it takes up unnecessary space on my nightstand. It's light and is easily pushed across my stand, so I have to hold the unit with one hand and push buttons with the other. But again, these are just my personal preferences and other people may not be bothered by them.

Sound tracks may be conducive for distractions in order to work, but most sounds are not for adult sleep enhancement. One track sounds like a recording through a lapel microphone that is constantly being brushed against and touched. Results are loud scratching and popping sounds. Rain, fire and wind tracks also have very loud popping sounds. All tracks start softly and increases in volume. The level of volume control between "4" and "3" is from "Loud" to "Too Soft." There is little difference between the fan sounds and the white noise sounds. There was evidence that this unit was previously returned. Also the color was not what I ordered. It can't be returned, because the flimsy manufacturer's box was crushed. It was inadequately packed in a larger Amazon box. Both were thrown out with other Christmas wrappings and packaging.

My son had difficulty sleeping when he was a couple months old without any sound. I wanted a sound machine with lots of options that would grow with my on. I love the wide variety of natural sound choices. I also love that it has a built in night light so I can see in his room at night. The sounds have great quality and sound more realistic then some other machines I've had.
