Needed this to reprogram my MPPT and 3000 watt inverter for LifePo batteries when I converted over. Worked very well, The Pin number is in the workbook that comes with it.

A must have for Victron inverter owners
This connects directly between your Victron Multiplus 2 inverter and a computer, giving you full access to every configurable setting. Do not purchase Victron equipment if you believe it is plug and play. This is serious equipment. You need to study the manuals, do your research and commission this equipment if you expect success.

Essential Tool for Easy Configuration
This interface works perfectly for connecting my VE.Bus devices directly to my laptop. The USB-C connection is a great modern update, eliminating the need for extra adapters. It made configuring my Quattro II settings and updating firmware incredibly fast and stable. If you have a Victron system, this is a must-have tool for your kit!

Works great but may not be necessary.
I bought this device so I could program my Victron Multiplus-II 48V 5000-70 inverter. You can't directly configure settings, enable assistants or update firmware without it. However, once it is configured, if you have a Cerbo-GX and use VRM, you can remotely download and upload the configuration of the device from a web browser. I still needed this to enable the ESS assistant I use, but I no longer have to go outside with my laptop to make any further changes. So if you already have a Multiplus-II and a cerbo, try using remote config with VRM.

The key to success
Purchased RV with full Victron system already installed, but would not accept shore power. Tried diagnosing on own with no success. Got this interface, and with free software I had issue fixed within 15 mins. A little expensive for a USB dongle, but is high quality and works flawlessly

Poor build quality but does the job
The plastic, stickers and connectors are clearly low quality but it works flawlessly. I was expecting a bit more from victron but hey, it does allow me to connect to the multiplus and do my config without any issues.
