Waterdrop WD-F45 Replacement for Samsung® DA97-17376B Water Filter, 3 Pack

I've been using a Samsung refrigerator, and I've been buying these Waterdrop replacement filters regularly for the past three years. The filters fit perfectly, are easy to install, and have worked reliably every time. The water tastes fresh and clean, and I've never had any issues with compatibility or performance. Compared to the original filters, they offer excellent value for money while maintaining great filtration quality. After three years of consistent use, I'm happy to keep purchasing them and would highly recommend them to other Samsung refrigerator owner

These are lighter in weight than the actual Samsung filters but still do the job at less than half the price of the original Samsung filters. Will they filter as well? The water tastes very similar. It’s essentially just a built in Brita filter and I used to use 3rd party Brita filters for years without issues. You can actually prolong the filter life by just resetting the filter warning in your fridge. It’s just a timed warning and doesn’t actually measure anything in the actual filter. In my experience the filters can easily be used twice as long as advertised without any compromise.

I bought these replacement water filters back in April 2025 after quite a bit of research. So that's well over a year of real-world use, and it feels like the right time for an honest review. I've got a Samsung American-style fridge freezer, and the "Replace Filter" message was popping up far more often than I liked. At the price of genuine Samsung cartridges, keeping up with that schedule was turning into a pricey exercise. My thinking was simple: find a decent-quality, non-genuine filter that I could swap out on the same schedule without wincing at the cost. Despite my initial doubts, it's turned out to be a good call. These filters slide in perfectly, the water tastes exactly as it should, and I've happily changed them whenever the fridge has asked. I even missed one change by a few weeks and that filter was still performing fine when I finally swapped it. I'm no expert on whether the manufacturer's( Samsung) timeline is driven by microbial concerns, but on pure water quality and build quality I'm completely satisfied. There are also guidelines on changes on the filter itself of 6 Months or 316 gallons ( See Photos) Just run off a few litres after fitting (Push and Lock ) and allow for the air surges from the filling action . The only drawback—and the reason I'm docking a star—is simply that they aren't genuine Samsung parts. If that matters to you for warranty or peace-of-mind reasons, factor it in. (They are tested and certified by NSF International ) For me, the performance has been spot-on and the savings are significant. 4 out of 5 stars.

These are a perfect replacement for Samsung filters and at a much cheaper price. I purchased two sets of three filters at a similar price to the Samsung one filter. There has been no leakage since installation and the installation was as easy as an authentic Samsung filter.

So far so good. I only have them in 3 days, and already see a difference in the water pressure from the fridge and the taste of the water is notably different.
