This globe has been a big hit in our house. My daughter loves exploring it and discovering different places, animals, and landmarks. It’s a really cool way to make learning feel like play, which is always a win. The interactive app adds a lot of value and brings the globe to life, though I will say it can be a little slow at times. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Great educational gift for kids easy to assembly

my grand daughter who is 6 loves to play with this orboot earth globe. She likes to use the globe with her ipad, and without the globe when she is in the car. Her family moved from the US to Germany and will be moving again at the end of the year for the military to Japan. We ended up going visit them recently and gave this to her. She was able to see on the globe the places we visited together (where we traveled from), and information about those places. She was able to see where places are, and learn so much about each area. This was easy to set up, and the passport that comes with it, stickers, and stamps was a great extra bonus. She has her own passport, but it isn't as cool as her own to interact with. We will be checking out the core globe next.

I saw this and got it for my son. He has Down Syndrome ,and since he was about 3 he has been interested in stories about places animals,foods, asking me if I've been here or there before,etc ..When he got older (13) He began to get extremely shy, afraid of things and rocking,almost all the time. We were told they didn't know what it was, but a doctor in the ER told told us he believed it was autism but that no one wanted to name it because "Downs kids can't get autism" It took 2 years for me to get that diagnosis and then no one wanted to treat it. His little world closed up but his sister and I were fighting to stop it. We filled his room with color,soothing sound and stories 5 times a day. Changed his diet to no dyes and no artificial flavors,sweeteners.His favorite item was his globe. We'd spin it,have him stop it and touch a place for a story. When I saw this I KNEW he would love it. We got him the newest Amazon 10"+ tablet and this along with a stories from around the world book. On the day after Christmas( also HIS birthday) we opened this up,set it up and put the app on his new device and my S22+ phone. He was so excited to be able to look this up on his own and hear the information. He was able to get it going,but every time he'd get the star in focus to choose the topic to hear about,it would stop working. I watched him become discouraged and then tell me he couldn't make it work after trying so hard. I told him I thought it was the globe,not him and that we'd figure it out. I tried as well ,and tried for over an hour for 6 days straight. Nothing. We were unable to keep focus on the star point on the globe for more than 5-7 SECONDS. I don't know if this one is DEFECTIVE or what, but I tried it alone, while he was asleep and it DOES NOT WORK. ITS HEARTBREAKING that one of his great interests can not be pursued by him. This was such a great idea carried out in poor form. I don't want to do anything more than get hold of the CREATOR of this item to see if they have a remedy. If not. This is of no value and I want our money back. They obviously KNOW there is a defect and it should be corrected in their app or by PROVIDING A SET OF STAR STICKERS that the APP CAN ACTUALLY READ !

This has been one of the most enjoyable gifts my son has received. It is very educational and entertaining. Would definitely recommend it. My son is only 4 and LOVES animals and dinosaurs. As he grows he will be able tu keep using other features which are more suitable for older kids.

This is definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for an educational gift for children. It will keep them entertained and learn so many things about the culture, food, animals and countries. It's even entertaining for the adults!

lo he comprado para regalárselo a mi hijo y le encanto, es super interesante porque al mismo tiempo es un juego y están a aprendendo, tiene varios tipos de actividades y cosas para ellos hacer y aprender. Después de dárselo a mi hijo, ya compré otros 2 para regalárselo a 2 amigos.

I gave this to my 4 year old for his birthday and it has been a huge hit! The toy comes with a really cute globe that has pictures of various animals and monuments instead of the traditional country borders (bonus - really cool room decor). Once you install an app on your phone/tablet, you allow access to your camera and it automatically synchs with the globe when it registers the little stars on the globe. Various things will pop up on the screen in a virtual reality simulation. The child can move around the globe and will view different things depending on what part of the world they are hovering over. It’s the coolest thing ever - I was so impressed when I saw it! You can explore animals, monuments, cultures, food, flags and much more! Your child can click on the images that pops up and it brings them into another screen that is sort of like an encyclopedia with various facts and little games. I like that this is an interactive game and is educational, so it doesn’t feel as though he’s just blindly sitting behind a screen; he’s actually learning! The only thing I would caution is to ensure your tablet or phone is compatible with the device before purchasing as the app may not work on some older models. Definitely a great educational toy for kids (I’d say around 4 is a great age to start).
