Only is about 500 lumens but it’s easy to change that. Just unscrew the tube and the circuit board drops out easy. There are 2 current limiting resistors in parallel between the red and black led leads and if you short either one the led will draw closer to 2900 mAh and will be almost the 1000 lumens. Even though it’s a cree knock off it can still handle the extra current and the heat sinking seems okay too. The 2450 mAh battery that comes with it did test to be 2200 mAh. Not bad. The color temp is around 5700k on mine. A little cooler than I like but still better than most of those 6500k’s that usually come in the cheaper flashlights. Remember, the higher the color temp is the more invisible the light becomes to the human eye. So a 1000 lumens at 5000k looks brighter and lights better than 1000 lumens at 7000k.

Fake Chinese KNOCK OFF Cree Bulb and 2400 mah battery! No way this flashlight could get close to 1000 lumens ....But so far it works ok and seems to have a decent battery in it , I like the lit on off switch but I don't like the press and hold to turn off I wish I could just click once to turn it off . I INCLUDED A PICTURE OF A REAL CREE TO SHOW HOW WELL THEY ARE BUILT WITH HEATSINKS. The knockoff is just a bulb on a board and wont last very long. But fot the price I'm giving it 2.5 stars

UPDATE:I got an email super quick from the company and received a refund for the defunct flashlight. Which is why I changed my original 1 Star rating to a 4 Star rating. I really dig their flashlight, but it didn't work and so their customer service was very cordial and professional and giving me a refund. And having great customer service is important to any business. I will buy another product from them and see how that turns out.ORIGINAL:Everything was easy to fix up and put together. And the flashlight was relatively bright which was nice. And the button work as is in terms of the functions and modes they had. I really dig the wrist strap, for some reason other small flashlights don't have them.BUT as soon as I took it to work the next day the flashlight didn't work at all. It doesn't even charge. I would have to leave the USB inside the flashlight for it to work. So this product isn't a flashlight so much as it is now a tiny tiny tiny desk lamp.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy this flashlight. Wow! Am I glad I didn't let them stop me. This flashlight is by far, the best flashlight I have ever owned. It feels very solid, is well built and is very easy to use. Press the button once and it turns on at the brightest setting. Which is amazing! I can even use it indoors during the day and it clearly and powerfully illuminates what I am wanting to see. Then hold the button for a few seconds to turn the flashlight off. The usb connection has a cover to protect it during use and the protective cover is easy to open and close. This flashlight has, by far, exceeded my expectations and is well suited to satisfy my needs for illumination.

UPDATE 2: I wrote to the company through Amazon and they responded immediately and sent out a new light. I received it and it works fine. I am hoping this one lasts a few years. I definitely appreciate the company's fast response and customer service--it is excellent.UPDATE: This light died on me this week. I have not had it even a year, and maybe charged it 4 times, if that. I charged it all night and it will no longer hold a charge. It’s lightweight and can handle being dropped on the floor or street (yes, I’m clumsy). It recharges pretty quickly, too with any micro USB charger. I have not tested it in the rain or anywhere regarding water, so I can’t speak to that. But I’m pleased and would buy it again.

Worked as advertised. very bright, easy to change modes, nice switch position. Pleasantly surprised to find out that the light goes back to the same mode you left it in!! EVERY OTHER MULTI FUNCTION LIGHT I HAVE BOUGHT ADVANCES TO THE NEXT MODE WHEN TURNING BACK ON AGAIN. Also there is a lot of thought in the design. The USB charging port is hidden and protected from dirt or damage by a threaded ring. Judging by the feel this ring probably has a rubber O ring to keep out water too. Good job. will be ordering a couple more today to give as gifts.

As an industrial electrician, I am constantly in panels or under equipment and needed a small flashlight. I found these rechargeable lights and after reading the reviews, thought why not give it a try. So far I am impressed with the fuctions of this little powerhouse. With the different power settings, it fills all of my needs. The high level is great for lighting the roof rafters(22ft in the air), the medium setting works well when I am providing light to another mechanic and the low setting is great for when i am in a panel working on wiring. It is easy to charge and with the way i use the flashlight, the battery usually lasts me the better part of 4 days.

This thing surpassed my expectations. The different lighting options are fab but the bright mode is the BEST for lighting up the entire 1/2 acre yard to keep track of our dog when she needs to go out at night. Stays charged for a long time and, after a over a year of usage, is still my go to light. Getting a 2nd one so no more worries of hubby misplacing it when I need it. Only thing that could be better is to have a locator on it! lol
