Decent laptop.
Honestly, for the price paid it is a good machine. As a writer I wanted something to bring always with me as I go and I have to say this is fantastic for the purpose: the battery last a while, the whole thing fits perfectly in the slim pocket of my bag, keyboard is comfy to type onto and display and audio are perfect.I'd say that its only problem is Windows 10 which I hate. But hey ho, after removing a couple of crap things from the programs it is a worthy laptop.

someone with no feet could run quicker.
Honestly, the worst piece of kit I have ever used. I brought this as I travel a lot with work. I’ve lived with it for a few months now but it feels like years.I read the other reviews and boy do I wish I listened to them. Straight out of the box I’ll admit the Asus looked stunning but that’s where the positives stop. For the first run it’s a nice simple set up. Then comes the forced restart after updates, well after that it may as well be a paper weight. The Asus struggled to even load up after a restart. Asking it to open emails/browse the internet hope you’ve got a few hours to do so.And don’t even try and install any apps because one app and your memory is practically full. I for example installed Netflix... big mistake, this rendered the Asus pretty much useless took loading times to the extreme and It could barley run the Netflix app with lag and drops in frame rate and that’s just the app it couldn’t load video at all. Honestly it took ages to do very simple tasks which any low grade laptop/PC should be able to run with ease, you don’t need much to browse the internet and check emails. This Asus felt as if it had been used heavily for years. To conclude avoid big time. Biggest waste of money and productivity.

GOOD VALUE
Pros-Is very portable.Very quick boot times.Quick browsing experience.Cons-Sensitive trackpad.Streaming sometimes stutters (for example youtube videos).Very slow when configuring windows when booting up.Overall great computer for quick lite work like browsing the web or writing on microsoft word.Highly recommend this not to be bought for games, video editing and various other demanding softwares.ConclusionOk product and great value!

If you need a small laptops just for emails and vet light browsing then it is fine And if you are interested in something with long battery life however if you need something more like quick online browsing and storage for music and vdeos then sorry this is not the answer

Don't Bother!
I bought this for my son a year ago for his college work and he was really chuffed with it to start with. As time went on it got slower and slower and had no space for Windows 10 updates so crashed constantly. We even paid to have a computer expert do a fresh install of Windows 10 so the updates were not necessary. This worked for a while, but 6 months later we're back to a slow machine with little to no space. I'm gutted I wasted the money on it, because we've now got to buy a new notebook for him to use at Uni. Don't bother with this one, it's not worth the money or the grief!

Bought this as a present for someone who needed a notebook of sorts to carry around at work. This is ideal size, has been well looked after and clearly checked over carfully. Very light to carry around. It would have been maximum stars if my friend had not felt they had been a bit duped when it came to loading the free micorsoft period which she could not reject as something she wanted to buy next year given the system only operates when you agree to purchase next year and include your payment details. In fact thinking about this for longer it is quite a cheek so on further reflection will drop it down to three. If the seller contacts and points to this being an error and can say how to rectify it then back up to a five.
