A real gem !
This is a real gem of a guitar ! Needs minor tweaking ,very minor tweaks to get it as I would like, but perfectly playable straight out of the box.Extremely well packed and protected all over so no transit damage.Looks the mutts nuts leant against my Marshall amps, even when it's not plugged in it looks evil ! You just want to pick it up all the time. Not everyone will like the colour, but I would think it'd mellow out a bit with use.even if it doesn't I'm not bothered,I love it.Plugged in it sounds fantastic, can't compare it with a real 59 LP but the pick ups sound really good, not at all tinny as some LP copies can be. Tuners are good and tight, although will be pulled off in favour of a set of vintage Klusons which I prefer on Gibsons, you even have the holes already drilled for you,and imprints too as if a set had been removed !Ordered this on an impulse from Reidys Music on a Sunday morning,it was sent out on Monday afternoon,I received it on Tuesday morning first thing even without next day delivery option,so thanks are due to Reidys !I am one very happy camper !

Perfect!
Got this guitar at a significantly discounted price. I've been an owner of a Gibson Les Paul in the past, but this guitar is better by far! (I'm looking for a Vintage Coaster 'strat' now).

Don’t buy this
This guitar arrived and in ten minutes I was returning it. Hole just below the bridge and a fretboard like sandpaper. Unplayable garbage. Don’t buy it

The biz
I've been playing guitar for 20 years and I kid you not this is one of the best made best playable and best sounding guitars I've ever played. To me the real thing is overpriced for what you get, and there's a lot of cheap rubbish about, but these are a great sounding, very playable guitar for a super price. I've got a Gordon Smith Guitar worth about £900 and I used to like it a lot, but I think, the V100 lemon drop is just more versatile and overall sounds better. In one way it's good news because I can now experiment with the pickups in my Gordon Smith which I'm in the process of doing with Wilkinson WVHZ's which are in the V100 AFD model.

Exceptional value for money
This was half price so snapped it up while I could and it does not disappoint. It plays phenomenally well considering the price, well constructed and a solid body. I will certainly be adding more Vintage guitars to my collection in future.

Fret buzz
I paid extra to have mine properly set up by the shop before delivery. For the first day or two I was delighted - it feels good in the hand, sounded decent, and looked the part despite the relic-ing (unconvincing is the right word). It was only after moving off high gain and overdriven sounds to clean tones that I noticed the awful fret buzz affecting the bottom three strings all the way up the neck. Just to be sure I put my amp and a mic in a separate room and played a few bits from behind the door. Yep the horrible buzz was there on the recording. The shop agreed to receive it back to be looked at but when they called me a few days later it was only to report that they could find no fault and 'that's how these things are'. I just don't believe that and neither presumably would any of the other reviewers here giving it good marks. Nevertheless I decided to get a refund, with regret. So a bad experience for me. I should say though the service from the seller was very good, disappointing guitar aside.

I am in love! Absolutely addicted to playing this through my Marshall DSL40C amp. 'Relic' has gimmick all over it, however, this plays beautifully 'straight out of the box' and definitely looks the part. Middle pick-up position kicks in to the reversed neck p u.
