006/C Chandelier Chrome Finished 8" Height Ceiling rose and lamp Holder with Shade Ring

I'm so glad I found this as I nearly purchased the longer one as we have low ceilings. Fitted for the living room this length is perfect. It is sturdy and it looks great. It was easy to fit as the bar/bracket which the screws go in to fix to the ceiling are around 3.5-3.75 inches(?) Our old brackets were around 3.45inches.) Being so happy with one, two more were purchased for bedrooms. Good seller too.

I have recently had these fitted and cannot recommend them highly enough. I've told so many friends about them as they can turn a fairly basic 'easy to fit' lampshade into a gorgeous item. I had originally looked at changing some lights in my house as the old white plastic ceiling rose fitting looked cheap and nasty. Wow, these make your old shades looking so much more expensive. These are pretty hard to find in the shops so this site is perfect. They're easy to fit (I did get my electrician to do it while he was here doing other stuff) and they also come in other lengths. I've purchased two very short ones for chandeliers. I'd recommend these. Delivery was super fast and packaging was very thorough.

We recently fitted a Next chrome and crystal glass lightshade to a ceiling rose in our kitchen/dining room. It always bugged me that it looked out of place on the standard white item fitted in houses. After a bit of searching I found this, having not seen anything suitable in the shops. It arrived well packaged and was fairly simple to connect up. The only issue being that this fitment didnt come with a connector block. Fortunately I was able to scavenge the one out of the ceiling rose this replaced. Being 8 inches long it hangs the same height from the ceiling as a standard light fitting, but of course the mirror chromed finish sets off the light shade beautifully, making the whole ceiling rose and shade seem like one piece.

If you live in a building where an earth wire is not supplied for this lamp holder, you will need a qualified electrician to fit it. In my area there are hundreds of blocks of flats built before the regulation regarding earth wires came into effect. If you live in such an older building be prepared to pay for an electrician to fit the lamp holder, it is not a DIY job.

Just what I was looking for. After looking for lighting for months for my daughter’s room without success, I decided to replace the ceiling rose, this item has made a HUGE difference and has really completed the look of the room. One small observation/critique is that my item did not come with screws which would have been helpful.

I ordered this for the spare bedroom to use with a crystal and chrome light fitting. We haven't fitted it yet as still decorating but product looks well made and just want we wanted. Arrived quickly and we'll packed....thank you Put up today husband said it's really well made

Love these, they make my £6.00 in the sale Sainsbury's chrome pendant shades look like really expensive designer light fittings!! My daughter loved them too and has bought a couple for her hall & landing for some new chandelier pendant shades she has purchased.
