RabteroKids Sock Hop Costume, Girls 1950s Dress Costume, 50's Poodle Skirt with Scarf, Glasses and Socks

I needed a very last minute costume and this one was priced well and available to ship quickly. I expected thin material for the skirt and was prepared for a one time wear. It is surprisingly heavy satin, and fit very well. The poodle and leash are appliquéd, not just printed. My daughter is thrilled, and this looks like it will be wearable many times. The socks are actually embroidered instead of being printed. The scarf and sunglasses are what you’d expect for costume wear and should last for a few wearings. But the skirt y’all! Much better quality than I expected, I couldn’t be more pleased.

I ordered two poodle skirts and I kept this one and sent the other back. The fabric lays well and the skirt flares out nicely when she twirls. I ordered a size 8-10, Medium, Pink and the skirt is a little loose on my petite 9 year-old granddaughter, but that's OK because it will fit her for several years. She already had a white crinoline by J. C. Collections (Made in USA) that was the right length and looked cute with the skirt. The glasses are large and there was one rhinestone missing, so I will probably get a new pair of smaller glasses to go with it. The scarf and socks are cute. I ordered the white Hip Hop 50's Shop Girls Top Blouse size 8 to go with it. The Keds Girls School Day Sneaker that looks like a saddle shoe is comfortable and adds to the outfit.

My daughter LOVED this set and won the 1950s days best dressed in her class! High quality, true to size and great coloring. She’s excited to wear this for normal daily life too. Bringing back the poodle skirt!!

This costume is great, the skirt is made of a thicker fabric than most costumes. It came with accessories to complete the look. My daughter used it with a black top as in the pictures, she loved it.

Everything was as described. Fit perfect but remember that it doesn't come with blouse. It made for a fun Girl Scout Sock Hop.
