Newday 42” Silver Ceiling Fan Quiet with 5 Blade and Remote Control

Very impressed with this fan. Easy to put together and fairly easy to fit (although I did use to be an electrician). The main problem I had was finding a joist which I definitely recommend doing as the fan weighs a fair bit. A joist was found and the ceiling plate secured. And once connected it does a very good job of keeping us cool in the heatwave. It looks great and even on the fastest speed it's still very quiet.

🌬Fan-Tastic.....🌀 best fan we have brought, works really well and very quiet, much quieter than a normal Stand/Desk fan, Air blowing from it is strong even on setting 1, Cant hardly hear it at night just a very gentle hum, quite relaxing really. The light is really good 3 colours, warm white, night white and day white, dims down nice and is super bright when turned up. One VERY good feature is, if there is a power cut at night the light does not come on when the power returns waking & blinding you in the night like our previous fan did. Only issue was I fell through the ceiling 🤕 when finding the beams as the flooring in the loft broke 🤭🤫( Dont Laugh ) flooring had rotted I fell like a sack of 🤔......potatos 🥔 Haha 🤣😂🤣 What a mess in the new bedroom, I now have a massive hole to fix, ( Wifes not happy at all 🤨) Kids thought it was hysterical 🤣 Apart from that getting the screews in when holding it up to the ceiling was very fiddly trying to keep wires out of the way at same time and continuously dropping the screews, thought my arms were going to fall off haha 🤣. Well made but it took a while to put together. The final top cowling was an issue as I forgot to unscrew two screws for it to push up and lock . Liked how you could slot the fan into the housing so you can wire into various slots. Make sure though you have a gap to put the receiver into the bracket. Works well and very quiet looks good . Bit of wire showing as I haven’t finished fixing …. It’s too hot!!

Absolutely love this fan, so quiet! 6 speeds, number one is great for a light wind breeze & number 6 is crazy! same white noise on 5-6 as you would expect from a normal fan or air conditioner unit, will be great for those heatwaves we get from time to time, 3 light setting all with dimmer option, comes with controller which is very easy to use, timer is great & the reverse fan as well, you can use fan with or without the light & light without the fan, I keep my wall switch on so that I can control it from the controller, just hope myself & my kids dont lose it! The only one thing I'd think would make it better is if the dimmer went a bit more dim but overall it's amazing!

Lovely looking fan plesently surprised. Sturdy well made and quiet. Only reason I gave 4 stars than 5 was it was treaky to fit to the ceiling. Putting together is not a problem. Just look at the video and the step by step guide makes it easy to assemble. The problem is when you put to the ceiling is getting all the wires out of the way to aline the fixing holes. Very time consuming and fiddly. But now it's up it was well worth it. So very quiet. Remote control really easy to use. Love the different variations of light colour also 6 spin speeds we are quite happy with it on one so far, but you have the option if want a lot more fierce fan. Ours is in our bedroom. Goes great with my decor which it modern it looks so expensive and stylish. Would definitely recommend.

Bought this last year when we were decorating. Dec all done now & the fan was fitted earlier this year. As we are in the midst of a heat wave at the moment it’s a good time to give a review. The fan is excellent, it’s powerful, really quiet, even on top speed, to looks lovely & works top notch. Easy to use with the remote control. Installation by my husband was quick & easy & we are so pleased with it. It’s in the kitchen, so we are spending time sitting at the kitchen table under the fan. I consider it excellent value for money

Great product, I’ve bought and fitted four of these fans now , my customers very happy with the possible variation of light and the six fan speeds. Also they are very quite in operation

I am greatly satisfied with the manufacturing- and material quality. It is above my expectations. The blades are within +/- 2 grams which makes it run smooth, no wobbling. Installation was easy as IKEA. The manual is good enough to guide through without problems. Remote controller was factory paired, and it works well. It uses radio so no line of sigfht required. It works well so far (2 days). Makes the heatwave easier to survive. Why only 4 stars? Everything is remote control ONLY. There is no other way to control it, not even the lights. You must have earth present at the lights as it has a metal body. It works without that but... You know, you should not do that. None of these are mentioned in the 【Notice for installation】on the product page. Update: It is not remote only but still 99% it is. If it is switched off with the physical switch (the old lamp switch on your wall) then it comes back to the last state when you turn it on again. E.g.: light was ON, you switch off an d ON and the light is ON again.

This is a smaller fan than what we have in the rest of our house. However, it is AMAZING. It circulates the air perfectly. I love having the remote so even though you have to keep the switch on, the remote can control both the fan and light. Love the different lighting options. We normally only need to keep it on speed 1 or 2 for my daughter’s room. She’s a hot sleeper but this fan keeps her cool and comfortable the whole night! Definitely worth every penny!!

I really love those fans, but hate how long and how hard it was to attach them to the wall
