Replacement for Moen T2471BN Genta LX Posi-Temp Valve Trim Kit, Brushed Nickel

Really liked the trim kit ! Worked out GREAT!! My husband had know problems installing. Looks nice and my family liked the style. It was worth the money at least for us.

We use this Moen model in most remodels and new construction projects we do. It's got great looks and Moen quality!

Looks good and installation is easy but unfortunately the handle does not fit flush like the picture shown for purchase. About an inch away. Kinda disappointing. Wish they had two options just in case your plumbing requires a longer handle to fit flush.

Very easy install! This replaced the ugly clear plastic Moen shower handle. Very nice satin nickel finish. Took all of ten minutes to remove the old handle and replace it with this. Very nice!

This was very easy to install and a great replacement for the original trim/handle I had in my shower. The color of the brushed stainless matched the trim of my glass walls. It is a sleek and sturdy product.

Very disappointed at the end of the installation. At the beginning everything was nice and smooth and pretty fast, then at the end when I tried to install the last step ( the handle) the small screw broke, but the handle was still loose, so had to drill through that small hole in order to get the handle out, but even though I couldn’t.At the end of my desperate attempts, I broke the cartridge inside the Moen, valve, and because I failed to remove the broken cartridge and made it worse, I couldn’t turn the water back on, as at the end I ended calling the plumbers for emergency service and repairing and cost me $1200.Terrible product, one small screw ruined my whole birthday weekend.Whoever manufactures this needs to be sued!Stay away and don’t you ever consider to buy it, instead buy something OEM, original product.

It looks very attractive in my shower

The item description states brushed nickel. I had order two and they are different shades of brushed nickel and the both have a copper hue. It is not like the Moen brushed nickel. I was expecting it to be less bronze/ copper. Picture shows more chrome color, which would match better than what I received.
