I used this rca to hdmi switch to connect my old game systems to my hd tv. Works great. Wish it upconverted the signal to HD, which it does not. but that's ok. Still looks great to me. It definitely does not feel cheap. Its body is made of metal and feels like quality. The included hdmi cord is way too short and definitely could be twice the length. The included control is a great feature.

Bought this to replace an old broken AV Receiver. This works great. We were able to plug in all our different consoles. It automatically switches to the console that is turned on and thr remote is a great extra!

I haven't had a chance to play with this for very long but a preliminary check yielded positive results. I'm using this to adapt both a laserdisc player and VCR to a new Onn TV via HDMI inputs so the switching feature is nice. The unit it's self is sturdy although the buttons that toggle between the inputs and aspect ratio have a cheaper feel to them. My main reason for purchasing this was because you can select the aspect ratio between 16:9 and 4:3. Some of these old movie releases were only in 4:3 and most upscalers like the Mini force a 16:9 aspect ratio skewing the picture. It seems to do the job well and the picture clarity is much better than expected. My only complaint is that it does seem to make the video considerably darker than the original hue. I'll be playing with my picture settings for my analog media. Overall, not a bad little unit if it holds out.

I use this for testing VCR's and DVD players. The picture quality seems to be pretty good overall, maybe a slightly darker tint, but really shouldn't expect the picture to be 100% the same with a converter for a modern TV. Haven't tried an old game console yet.

Switching a bit confusing! Probably my fault

So I bought this to be able to connect some of my old retro gaming consoles through hdmi and I have to say that it works! Plug and play and the remote makes switching easy!I can recommend this to anyone else looking for an av to hdmi out solution!

It's a little on the fragile side so handle it with care but it works well as advertised make sure your cables are plugged in far enough cause there may be sound issues or picture issues if not applied correctly. Overall good product glad to own it.

I got this model to replace another cheaper brand and the difference is night and day. This converter has excellent picture quality and I didn’t have any annoying lines dancing on my screen like I did the other brand I purchased. Very easy to install and come with power cord and adapter for ISB to wall outlet if needed. I highly recommend this converter.
