Why is this listed as Goldenseal "root", when the product description says "herb"? This does not appear to be the root. Please confirm. Thank you.

Root is different from herb. Herb is the leaves. If u are odering root and they sendvu herb, its the wrong product. I ordered the route 1 time in fact a couple times and both company sent me herb instead. I called them on it and eventually send me the root.

How much berberine is in each dose?

Goldenseal Herb is the whole herb form. It contains the stem, leaf, and flower that have been ground into a powder and placed in a capsule. It is not a standardized extract and Nature's Way does not test for berberine content.

This cause anyone facial acne or pimples?

never caused acne for me. it's not for your face. it's anti bacterial, virus and parasitic. used often inEurope.
