Love it
I received my rowing machine as expected. It was securely wrapped as everyone said. It was simple to assemble. Took me about an hour because I kept double checking before I put each piece together. I did not find the bolts to attach the computer. I placed Velcro on til I could find some replacement bolts. I contacted the company and they quickly jumped into action to resolve the problem of the missing bolts. Meanwhile my son came over to look at the equipment and see if he had bolts to fit. Velcro was working fine. He then asks, why not use the bolts that are in the computer already? I did not know they were already in the computer. I looked and did not see those instructions. I would not remove bolts unless I know I was supposed to do so.I love the machine. I am using YOUTUBE videos to exercise with this machine. It is sturdy. The seat is comfortable, it is quiet! Quiet is a must- Even when exercising, no matter how hard I push. It remains quiet. I have had the machine about 2 weeks, so if it becomes worn too soon, I will update. It's worth the purchase. Customer services is great to respond. Only by email. No phone number listed.

Magnetic rower - good buy for the money
This was bought to replace a Kettler piston type rower that my wife did not like to use. We tried the $1000 rowers at health clubs and looked at the water based rowers, but didn't want to spend that much money. Plus, unless you rowed very quickly, it was hard to build up any resistance. The magnetic resistance is constant at all speeds, but it will not build muscle if you already do resistance exercises. But for someone who doesn't lift weights, it does offer enough resistance to tone your muscles and give you some upper body work. The track has a good sliding distance. My son is 6'3" and he can fully extend his legs.Pros: Easy to assemble and seems to be of good quality materials. Steady resistance with several adjustments. Comfortable seat and pedals, and it rolls smoothly.Cons: Web belt for the puller. But it seems to be sturdy, so not overly concerned. Very basic display, with no programs. But this was only a nice to have and we didn't want to spend an extra $100 for a fancier display.Overall, I think this is a very good rower for the money, as long as the expectations are realistic. It is quiet, smooth and is a good change of pace from walking or the elliptical. The track has a good sliding distance. My son is 6'3" and he can fully extend his legs.

Great value and exactly as advertised
When I purchased this rowing machine, I did a lot of research online as well as reading comments from other users. Based on price point and my needs, this rowing machine provides great value for somebody looking for a low to mid priced machine for an in-home exercise machine. The machine arrived on time, complete, and without flaws or damage. I found it reasonably easy to assemble, taking no more than 30 mins to unpack and put together. It is steady for an average adult male and for my kids. The magnetic resistance is smooth and quiet. The little onboard computer is fine. Honestly I don't pay much attention to it but it works exactly as described so I can see my pace, time, estimated calories used, etc. You can put your iPad on the little device tray and watch video or listen to music. The seat, foot straps, grips are okay. On a more expensive machine, I'm sure they would be nicer as well as having more functionality within the display, but everything is exactly as described and on par with the price point. The slide action of the seat is very smooth. The tension control has a pretty good range and contrary to a few other comments, the range is substantial. Once again, maybe not for an olympic rower, but for cardio workout, it's great. I've been using the machine for two months and it is holding up well so far.

Very easy to put together
Female/64 have put together other simple equipment & furniture and this was very easy. After reading instructions- took 25 minutes start to finish. Just put together today & used briefly to check strap - everything feels sturdy.Carried it upstairs in pieces - cheap yoga mat cut 1/2 just to protect carpet. TIP to open lay box flat and cut large side off. Will update after using

So far so good
The instructions were helpful. It didn't take long to have it running. Mostly put together already so that's awesome. This thing is quiet!!! Within 10 minutes I'm sweating up a storm. The foot holds are ok, you do have to wear shoes for the straps to work as they are made to. Overall, I'm impressed. Worth the cost and I'm glad I purchased it. I live in a climate where it's rainy most of the year and this will come in very handy. I did find a random screw loose on the box, but it doesn't seem to go to the machine itself so I'm not sure what's up with that. The monitor works good too.
