Super low slung jack, that works as good as it looks
Over the years I have had a couple of car jacks a cheap one from Ha******* and then a more expensive one from the same high street retailer. Both of these corroded very quickly. (well what I call quickly). So I decided to invest in a more expensive one. Having looked through the reviews and personal knowledge I chose this one.It came in good time and was wrapped in polythene to keep the moisture out.The jack is shiny black in colour and bright sparky metals. The castors are made from a solid resin type plastic, and look to be very durable.Like one of the other reviewers I have a TVR Chimaera and it was a complete doddle to lift and it lifted high enough to get the axle stands under without any problem. The jack goes down quite low, so it should fit under most low slung sports cars. The lifting operation is like all other jacks; close the valve tight before commencing the lifting. Pump the handle up and down to lift and then release the valve slowly to lower the car.As it is brand new I cannot say for certain how long it will stay in good condition. However the paint looks to have been applied very heavy so I'm hoping that it will take a few knocks. From a style point of view it looks "professional" and I'm very happy with it so far and fully expect to get many years of use from it.I hope this helps with your choices

great product for the price
I bought this to replace a standard jack. This is a great product and very easy to use. I changed all four wheels on the car in less than 30 minutes. Its very robust but small enough to store without taking up load of room. I recommend this to anyone .

Good bit of kit
Good bit of kit, well made and low entry means I can get it under the car without having to drive it up on a brick first.

Great product. Looks like good quality
Great product. Looks like good quality, just be careful with the screw that lowers the arm. If you undo the screw to fast, then the car just drops to the floor, instead, bleed the screw slowly. Definitely recommend.

Waste of money
Simply awful. Makes hard work of any job. Should have sent it back. Have hardly used it as such a disapointment.

Disappointed
Low entry jack fits nicely under a TVR.Does what it says in the product description, but I only had it for six months before it began to 'self-deflate'. It now does this quite quickly. My TVR is just over one tonne in weight, so nowhere near the two tonne operational maximum of the trolley jack. I did call SCS at the time and was promised that somebody would get back to me, but nobody ever did.Having also purchased a set of axle stands and a roller tool chest from SCS, I was quite disappointed with it to be honest.

Good product for home mechanic!
Good value trolley jack for home mechanic duties, especially if your car is a little low or tricky access. Moves about a little when jacking, but settles itself just fine. Would use trolley jacks as well.
