I despise banana candies personally 😂 But banana candy people are always looking for good brands. I’ve been assured by the person I bought these for (a real banana candy snob) that they are top notch.

Not sure what I was thinking When I ordered this, because five pounds is a lot, but luckily I like artificial banana flavor. These would be good if you were ordering other flavors and shapes to make “fruit salad“ for a group or favors or something. It does have a good texture - crunchy but not stale or hard or chalky - with a good taste - not too chemical of an artificial banana flavor.

I recently tried the Bananarama Banana Shaped Candy and I must say, it was a delightful experience! As a self-proclaimed lover of all things banana, I was excited to give these candies a try. They are also very affordable, which is a plus.Overall, I would highly recommend Bananarama Candy to anyone who loves bananas and is looking for a fun and delicious snack. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5/5 rating is that it's not the healthiest snack option out there, but as an occasional treat, they're also not as rich in flavor as I had hoped.

These are the traditional banana candies, similar to the kind you'd find in those semi-hard candy assortments, except without all the other flavors. In case you're not familiar with them, these are about the same consistency as a stick of chalk, but not as hard as something like a jawbreaker. You can chew on them and they basically crumble to sugary powder. These are in the same category of textures as Runts, Smarties (USA), or those conversation hearts you get on Valentine's Day.As far as banana candies go, these are slightly softer than others I've tried, which is a good thing. The banana flavoring is exactly what you've come to expect. It comes in a resealable stand-up plastic bag.

This is a great bulk bag of the banana shaped and flavor candy similar to what you might find in other candies. It is not an overly strong banana flavor (and by that, I mean the typical candy banana, not the natural banana flavor that you get from today's real bananas) but it is there. The candy is basically just a hardened sugar that is easy to suck but you can chew them up if you're that kind of person. With a bulk bag, 5 lbs will go pretty far. If you're hosting a party and want to put some out for guests or, if you're like me, just want to have a big bag at home that everyone can indulge with wherever they want, this is a great option.

You don't realize just how much 3lbs is, until you have it in front of you. This is a LOT of candy! The packaging says it's good through June 30th 2024, but there's no way I'll go through it all in a year. I'm gonna package a bunch of it in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers, so it'll last for MANY years to come.These taste just like I remember. I've never had just the banana ones though. I didn't know you could by them by themselves. I always saw them mixed in with other Runtz candy. So, this is a real treat for me as the banana ones are my absolute favorite!
