Not what I expected - false advertising
I could've sworn that the MXR promo videos for this pedal with Jack White showed it independently operating two different amps. That is NOT possible with this pedal. There is a single switch and it only turns the pedal on. That's it. It will not toggle the individual outputs on/off as I assumed. This means both amps will be on. I was hoping for the gain boost PLUS control over each amp's signal so that I can use Amp A only, or Amp B only, or A+B together. That's definitely what the promo videos appeared to indicate. To accomplish what I wanted, I need an A/B/Y pedal and then a boost pedal for each amp (A and B). Frustrating that they didn't merge these two pedals together as advertised. The boost also seems to lack headroom in my opinion. I don't notice much of a gain boost until the knob is well past 12 o'clock.
