Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase

A whole new Scooby-Doo indeed. Where do I even begin. By now, anyone who knows a bit about this lovable hound and his mystery-solving human companions knows that they've faced many bad guys disguised as countless legendary ghosts, monsters, and ghouls, all while encountering the occasional real super-natural creature. Though some might argue otherwise, this film perfectly combines both of these elements when someone creates a villainous computer virus that becomes a real-life threat to the gang. On top of that, this flick was a nice tribute to the past, bringing back some classic Scooby-Doo enemies such as The Creeper. But the best by far was when Scooby and the gang met Scooby and the gang. That has to go down as one of the greatest moments in Scooby-Doo history! Seriously, is there anything better than Scooby and Shaggy and Scooby and Shaggy chowing down together? The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was when the film would cut back to the gang's friend, the other scientists, and the security guard watching the gang's progress in the cyber world and commenting on it. It was as if they were simply saying "We're still here, by the way." Also, the one scientist's comment about how the perpitrator behind the whole thing could very well be someone among them was so contrived. It's obviously someone we've seen interacting with the gang already...that's how it works. But for these minor faults, this is certainly my favorite of any Scooby-Doo films. It's one DVD no fan should be without. Enjoy.

I grew up watching Scooby Doo, the original series, and then through all the re-boots they have done over the decades. People always complain about the re-boots never meeting their expectations and how the classics are better but I'm just glad Scooby Doo gets the opportunity to resurface throughout the years and not fade away into history. I'm in college now but I still love Scooby Doo and am finally getting to own all of the series and movies :)

Entertaining as Scooby Doo always does. Join the scooby doo gang as they solve yet another caper. Play quality of this dvd was excellent. Sound was fine. Overall good movie if you are a scooby doo fan.

Bought for $4.99It came wrapped in plastic and the cover and the disk were in good shape.My girls and I love this movie! We saw it when they were younger and I recently purchased to go down memory lane (they are teenagers now) and we all still loved it! The story plot is is fun and engaging and the characters are well developed for this caliber of cartoon.Give it a try if you are a fan of Scooby and Shagster!

What a fun movie! And in excellent condition!This fun filled tale follows Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred as they get trapped inside of a video game that features mysteries from their past. They meet up with a few old favorites such as the Gator Ghoul (from the Scooby Doo Show), Jaguaro (Scooby Doo Show), Old Iron Face (Scooby Doo Show), the Tar Monster (Scooby Doo Show), and the Creeper (Scooby Doo, Where are You?). This movie brings together the new and the old in such a fun, marvelous way!

This movie literally gets to the start of the moon level scene and cuts to the special features screen. I can't choose a scene after that either; it cuts to the special features screen regardless. Also came in not the best shape and unwrapped. I'm just bummed because this is one of my favorite movies. I finally find it and pay for it and the stupid thing doesn't even work.

I like how a TV movies is in clear picture and great sound quality and I like how the color of the blu ray looks good

Cross Neuromancer with In the Mouth of Madness, add a little bit of Tron, Terminator, and set it in the Scooby-Doo universe and you pretty much have the basis for Cyber Chase.The Mystery Inc. gang go visit a college friend who has made a video game based on their exploits. But instead of enjoying the novelty they are terrorized by an entity born of a computer virus who has entered the real world. The gang are beamed into their own video game (called Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase) and are forced to play through the levels in order to catch the virus (so to speak), eventually encountering their digital selves and digital versions of classic villains from the past. Sharp viewers will recognize Cyber-Shaggy's alternate costume from  13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo: Complete Series [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC ] and  Scooby Doo and The Reluctant Werewolf [DVD ].It's very clever, with loads of potential, most of which is not realized with the brisk run-time. At least you'll never get bored. It's certainly one of the most subversive and mind-bending Scooby adventures. A video game arcade featured towards the end of their titular Cyber Chase even features the Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase video game, thus making it self-referential meta-fiction within self-referential meta-fiction within self-referential fiction. Phew...get your head around that. And if that wasn't enough, it's the only Scooby-Doo animated feature to spawn its own real video game (for the PlayStation and Gameboy Advance), which would make that game self-referential fiction within...oh man, I'm getting dizzy.Smart and tightly-written, Cyber Chase's lack of scope is the only thing preventing it from being a classic.The Blu Ray looks great in 1.33:1 1080p, with colors so bright they literally pop off the screen. The sound is in DTS HD-MA, and there are a couple of minimal extras. Brilliant dvd. It's a mini disc but works perfectly in DVD player. One delighted daughter..... Excellent product. Fast delivery.

The product came but the delivery person just droped the package in the middle of my deck. He didn't knock or ring bell. But over all love the product.

Not as good as most of the other scooby doo movies, but still pretty good. Fast shipping and good quality.
