Pleasantly surprised! Ingrown hair and Keratosis pilaris sufferer here!
The media could not be loaded. I gave this a shot because I was looking for something a bit more sanitary than other exfoliating brushes. I didn't like it at first. I thought it was a little bit stiff and rough on the skin but after a couple uses, I have grown to love it. I would not recommend using this dry! I've discovered that it works better if you use towards the end of a warm shower. I find that the bristles soften up a bit when I use it directly under the warm water. I have suffered from ingrown hairs all my life and this brush was a game changer. And I was surprised to see that it also helps with my Keratosis pilaris! I use it on my legs, arms, and bikini line.NOTE:This product may be a bit too rough for others. I think I've gotten used to it so it's not as uncomfortable as it was in the beginning.Water does seep through the inside of the brush. After I use it, I make sure to let it dry tilted so the water flows out.

Works great on ingrown leg hairs
I’m a 60+ male and for years have had problems with small bumps on my legs from new hairs growing in. Very uncomfortable sometimes and mostly just don’t like having all these bumps! Have tried varios approaches but got this brush. It has firm rubbery bristles that I was skeptical about but actually works great! Use in small circles patern. I think it gently pulls the hairs out of their little skin pockets. Whatever, after a week of use when showering and my legs feel much smoother and better. I recommend.

Great exfoliater, potential ingrown hair remover
So recently I went on a mini shopping spree after my midterms and bought a bunch of random things that I wanted and needed. This was one of them and it actually didn't disappoint. TMI but I have the worst ingrown hairs everywhere from epilating. I found this item through one of those random lists from fb posts. This item had so many reviews claiming it helped with their own ingrown hairs and razor bumps so this went straight to the cart. When I got this I was surprised by the size of the brush itself, but I'm not complaining because I have alot of surface area to cover LOL The bristles seem to be made of some silicon material, and the bristles itself are pretty sturdy. It could be a little bit rough on the skin, but just don't scrub as hard and it should be fine. I have only used this once so far and haven't seen much difference, but my skin does feel more exfoliated and softer. I feel like this scrubber should only be used on a weekly basis since it's so heavy duty. I will keep this review updated with results to see if this really works!EDIT: so I have been using this for almost a week now and i have seen very slight improvements in my ingrown hairs. ( i have been scrubbing reallly hard too though so idk how effective that really is) But i will keep this post updated as i keep using it

Nice tool, but too rough
I bought this one and a competing brand. I kept this one because it had the softer bristles. It is still a bit rough and hurts my skin, so I can only use it on my lower legs. It was too rough for arm bits and bikini zone. I add some shower gel to make it slide more easily and hurt less, but the soap does not spread well it stays under the bristles. I was initially thinking that it could be good for my husband who have ingrown beard hairs on the neck, but I did not even suggest it since it was quite rough. I like the handle.

Works great and can be cleaned in the dishwasher!
It may feel a little rough if you don't usually exfoliate. I don't think it would work for dry brushing; it needs a little warm water to get flexible. As an unexpected bonus it feels rejuvenating on post-workout soreness.I have no idea if it works on ingrown hairs or on your face, but for itchy legs it works as well as other brushes that can't be cleaned as easily and better than a loofa mitt.NOTE: I cleaned it in the top rack of the dishwasher with no problem, but I don't use the drying function.

Cactus is friendlier to the skin
I just got out of the shower and I used this thing since it arrived today. I followed the instructions and tried it, and it hurt, like getting road rash. I tried changing the temperature of the water. I tried applying less and more pressure. No matter what I did, this thing is just PAINFUL. I know my skin isn't the most robust and least sensitive in the world but holy crap.I suffered through it and managed to scrub half my body, in sections with breaks. I really wanted it to work and be worth the pain. What I'm left with is half of me is red and angry skin. And now that I'm sitting here half dry, and I run my hand along my leg, tons of (now) dead skin sloughs off. It's like a huge pencil eraser. I usually slough dead skin during exfoliation, not after. This feels like it loosened the top (alive) layer of skin and now it's starting to peel, but it doesn't peel fully. So even though I am pasty skinned, I look ashy, I didn't even know that was possible.Feels like rug burn now. Beware.

Read the instructions.
The little holes that people (in some reviews) said were inadequate for drainage and drying are only there for threading through a cord (a very thin one) that you could use to hang it up.For drying, you’re supposed to pry it apart. Try a thin knife in the recessed parts of the rim. You’re trying to make it buckle a little bit outward. Then it comes apart easily. The more you open it, the easier it comes apart. There’s a pretty strong plastic odor that I don’t like. I expect it to wear off though. It wasn’t too abrasive on my skin. On the contrary, I used it on a rash and got great relief. I’m not as sensitive as others though. You can lighten up the touch by taking it apart and turning the little reinforcement cup upside down. Then there’s a lot more give, especially in the center. I put it back in it’s original direction though because I liked it rough.Overall, I like it a lot. It’s more sanitary than the loofahs and natural brushes I’ve used before.

Invigorate your head! Easily breaks when dropped. Full silicone mould would be better. Same bristles.
