Great jacket
Update:I've been using this non-stop for 4 years and I love it! I'm now ordering another as backup as my old one is starting to show signs of wear :-DOld Review:I bought it for my apple-green iPod 4th generation, I use it ALL the time as I listen to audiobooks while cleaning house or sewing, I also use it to listen to music while I exercise. It fits well but I have to take out to use the knob, ive gotten used to that though. I bought one to my daughter's teacher as well.

Wish I had this the day I bought my Ipod
If my title didn't convey my feelings I guess I will go on. This neoprene case is fantastic. At the top there is a cut out so you can turn on the lock button while it's in the case, and at the bottom where the case closes, using Velcro, there has been given plenty of space to plug your headphones in. I really like the clip on feature, that's why I bought this in the first place, it's very sturdy and doesn't slide aroundThe armband isn't bad either, it adjusts well and seems like it will stay put after you fasten it in place, though I must admit I won't be using this feature, because I've never liked the restricting feeling I get from using those kind of things. The one draw back is the plastic facing. Now you may think it's nice to keep things dry etc., but it affects the electric spark of your skin touching the dial, which engages the controls, and you aren't able to dial down the volume. No problem for me though, I just cut out the part covering the circular control and left the part that protects the screen in place. For the price I think it's worth it.

The bottom of the case covers the bottom 1/3 of ...
The bottom of the case covers the bottom 1/3 of the touch wheel (unlike the picture) and it is very hard to activate the touch wheel through the plastic. (I was using the iPod nano 5th gen). The strap works ok, but the it doesn't have enough velcro to fit a small arm.

Remarkably Simple and Easy to Use
It comes with both an arm band and a clip-on. I use the clip on my waist belt while running and it stays on great. This is the best protection I've found for my Nano and I have been through leather, silicon, neoprene and lastly I was just using a plastic sandwich bag with a hole poked the headphone cord. The Nano slide in and out easy and the headphone jack and lock are still accesable. You will find the click wheel a little hard to operate, and this I find to be a plus because I run with the lock switch off to adjust the volume, and I don't like it when the wheel operates too easily anyway. With the excellent fit, you can draw the Nano out and turn up the volume, then tuck it back in easily. Seriously, this is not a super tight sleeve over you iPod. It is very easy to manage while on the move. I recommend this for active folks, get one while they last!

This works for me.
I needed something to hold my iPod while I exercised (or vacuumed) and needed something that also clipped onto my waistband. This product can either be used on your arm or clipped to a waistband or a pocket. The armband didn't work for me as the cord from my earphones wasn't long enough to wear the band comfortably so I use the clip which is what I prefer. As I read in some of the reviews I had to cut away some of the plastic in front of the product so I could use the iPod. The jacket holds my iPod snugly and the velcro underneath keeps it in place. I am very pleased with this product.

It gets the job done
The armband is difficult to put on. Also, my ipod fits really snug in the case. It makes it very difficult to remove. It was a good value and serves its purpose.

Not what was advertised
This pouch does NOT allow full access to iPod controls. It has a thick transparent plastic that covers the whole top of the iPod. It allows you to SEE the screen and the control but does NOT allow you to actually use the control wheel. I paid $3.50 for this, so I am not totally disappointed because the iPod fits in it nicely, it's sweat proof and it holds on nicely to my clothes with the clip. I used a utility knife and cut a hole in the clear plastic screen just to give me access to the control wheel. I give it 2 stars because it is NOT what was advertised and had to "modify" it.

Efficient for the cost
This is a pretty handy little active band! Especially for the iPod 4th generaton. The band part is relatively easy to adjust, although I sweat A LOT so I found that clipping it to my hip works a little better. The clip swivels as well so it's convenient. You'll need to take off any case you have on your iPod before putting it in this jacket but it secures it pretty well. The only problem is it's hard using the center turn dial wheel because the plastic is thick. But it works if you press a little harder and for just $3.25 I'm willing to do that. If you want a cheap way to hold your iPod at the gym or on a morning walk, buy this.
