Sorel Women's Glacy Explorer' Boots

These were a considered purchase. I needed some boots for everyday and dog walking that were warm, dry and most importantly, comfortable as I suffer with plantar fasciitis.These boots are a dream, I'm a size 8 and they fit perfectly, I'd get a thick pair of socks on inside as well. They've got the comfiest sole and arch support which is perfect for keeping my PF at bay. the boots are well constructed and have withstood wet weather (not tried standing in free flowing water but walking through deep puddles is fine). They don't have a tread suitable for slippery surfaces so do be careful and don't expect them to walk you safely along an icy pavement, but Id have the same issue in any of my boots and I do have snow tracks for this.Complaints in reviews refer to a mouldy smell, its more musty and is to do with the way the fabric is treated to waterproof it. after wearing daily for 2 weeks I cannot smell to anymore so it doesn't linger long. As for pulling leggings or socks down, that's more about the choice and fit of these items, I pretty much live in leggings and have had no issue with them being pulled down, as for socks though, if the cut is close to the ankle you will find they get pulled down. I tend to wear calve length socks or longer and these are fine but the odd occasion i've had an ankle sock on i have felt it going.

These replaced my long loved Uggs. I prefer them as I can wear them in all weather. I wouldn’t recommend them in ice though as I slipped everywhere, my hiking boots weren’t much better though. I am a professional dog walker and these work great. I’m a size 3 and I would recommend getting some thick long socks to wear with them as my normal socks slip and end up coming off inside which can be really annoying. But once I discovered that longer socks work they’re so comfortable and warm. Love the look of them and are exactly as they appear on Amazon. Would definitely buy again but hopefully I don’t have to for a very long time :)

Superb purchase. Warm, waterproof and comfortable to wear. Can be tightened with laces and drawstrings just below the knee. Use mine for walks with the dog as wellies and 2 pairs of socks just don’t cut the mustard 👏👏👏

The boots have big thick sole, which prevent the foot from the cold. I expected the boots to be soft and cosy. Actually they turn to be stiff. Which is not a bad thing - it keeps the shape in place.I am very satisfied with these boots. They are very warm. Please bear in mind that on ice they slip very easy.They are also true to size.

Very Comfy and warm, Great quality, but slightly narrow - this was anticipated so Bought half size bigger so fit is good.

I love the look of these snow boots, I am a UK 4 so chose this exact size of boots. They are a good fit but rather large around the ankle, nothing that a thick pair of socks and an insole can’t fix. Tested in snow and my feet were lovely and toasty!

I'm a size 4 (EU37) and ordered 5, with 2 thick socks it's perfect, warm and have just enough space in the boots. Very comfortable, can't wait to try it at our next winter adventure. Cheers.
