Dear Darling Water Tint, Red Grapefruit Ade, Lip and Cheek Stain, 9g

I used to use a color like this from Tarte but they've change the tint and it's a weird color now. This is spot on and is so natural that I use to accent my contours. With or without makeup this is a simple wash of natural air brush looking color and I decide how vibrant it's to be. After contouring I dot dot dot where I want to warm up my cheeks then blend with a fluffy blush brush. That simple. I love that it's more color, not more makeup goop when I use it. To give an idea of the color, if you were to squish a pomegranate seed in your finger tips that's the red of this so this bottle will last years but since it's not grease based it won't go bad on you.

Excellent lip stain and lasts a long time! I’ve been looking for lip stain for so long, and just found this and it’s exactly what I was looking for! It stains your lips so it looks natural and doesn’t come off easily. It’s lightweight (feels like water) and is a water like texture as well. It also tastes a bit like grape. You only need a tiny bit so the size you get should last a long time.

I have mixed thoughts about this lip stain. I am in the market for a true red lip stain that lasts all day. The cherry ade is a beautiful red stain that borders on pink. As it fades it becomes more pinkish. The photo attached is when I first applied it with 3 layers. It is watery and because of that you have to be very careful to keep it from bleeding into the fine lines. It works best on exfoliated and well moisturized lips, but you have to moisturize them ahead of time. It comes with a sponge tip applicator which makes it easy to fill in but difficult to line the lips with. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and applying liberally. It doesn't look like I have used any so it will last a long time. The stain smells like candy, but the scent fades quickly. As far as I can tell it doesn't really taste like anything, but I am not trying to taste it. I think I could get used to the application and make it work, but I need something that lasts all day, and this isn't even close. For that reason I am not likely to purchase it again. It was worth trying though because that price is right.

Love this lip tint! The color is perfect opacity and after it dries down it does not smudge. Definitely not sticky at all. I’ve had this lip tint for years and still haven’t finished the bottle! A little definitely goes a long way. Also smells amazing!

I’ve had this tint for about a year now- it is a nice bright red shade, depending on how much you apply. This is a very watery lip tint and removes easily with water (not the best longevity). It is not sticky at all! It applies very easily with the wand in the container. I have packed this with me before and it leaked in my makeup bag, so store this upright :) This is a good option if you need a quick and not long lasting lip tint, but I don’t generally recommend it for practical uses (not easy to travel with… you’d likely have to reapply) If you are searching for a red lip color that does not apply like a traditional “creamy” lip stick, this is perfect! It allows your lips to remain their “natural texture”. Keep in mind that this product is a tint, so it is not meant for super long occasions, a stain would be more ideal for long lasting color.

It looks a lot darker than it is, I definitely was about to send it back but it’s actually exactly what I wanted and I absolutely am obsessed. I’ve had it for months and I’m still not out and I wear it everyday with only about 3 reapplications because I’m constantly licking my lips but my friend has the same one, she doesn’t lick her lips as much, and it lasts her all day and night. It’s my favorite and it’s not even halfway gone yet.

Loved it while lasted I was dangerously careful, pun intended and dropped. I salvaged what I could and it's A "YES" better stay than any lip gloss however this is a stain and only one I tried but I don't need to look further

this is a good color, if you apply it carefully, and they offer a nice hint, about applying it to the innermost lip area first and fade it out to the edge, it's not too much even tho it's a solid darkish red. But I don't think it lasts as long as I expected a stain to last. the price was good and it was recommended on the Allure site I think. it's nice but take it with you if you go out so you can reapply. It's liquidy, which is typical for a stain, but if you've never used one, just be ready for that.

It burnt the skin of my lips. I just used it 2 times. First when i applied it my hydrated lips became so dried n the next day skin of lower lip burnt n become flaky n black then it took 1 whole month to cure. I couldn't apply any lip shade for whole month till the skin removed n healed. At that time i didn't know that it happened due to this tint. So after healing when i aaplied it again the same thing happened to me again then i realised that it happened due to this tint. It doesn't suit me. So plz be careful when apply. Again my lips become so dry n flaky n i am using lip balm again n again to cure it.😞
