MiniSun A4 LED Modern Ultra-Slim Art Craft Design LightPad

I bought this for my nephew for his birthday as he loves tracing things and was using my sisters lasagne dish with his phone's torch underneath!I have been informed that this works very well and he loves itIt loses a point because it didn't have any proper packaging. It arrived in a brown cardboard box that didn't even close properly. When it arrived, I opened it up expecting to find the item boxed inside but it wasn't. It was just inside the box with some polystyrene to protect it.It doesn't look very good if you intend to buy this as a present as there isn't anything on the box that says what it is. There are no pictures on the box and no instructions so I had to explain to my nephew what it was that I had bought him.This is definitely something that could be improved on.Also, I found that the edges of the board were quite sharp. They could definitely do with being filed down.

This is lightweight, and very bright which is even too. But within using if for about 30 minutes, it decided to brake. This light began to flicker and then the light would not come back on at all. I have no idea what is wrong with it, all I did was some light pencil drawings and then it broke. I did not bang it or drop it, I was using it for one of its intended purposes and it brakes.But besides that its a great light pad, but they could have added a stand or something so it can be raised at an adjustable angle, because it is completely flat, but it does have little pads on the back to protect and secure it (which is nice) but personally I'd prefer it if I could use it at an angle.3 stars for it being lightweight, (making it portable) The even brightness of the light, and the price of it isn't too steep for what your getting.2 star loss due to: Unexpected breakage, and it could included a stand or at least clips at the back (like a keyboard) so it is at least at an angle.

Geat lightbox, i'd be lost without it. I bought this one to replace one of the same models, which I'd bought a couple of years ago - after a lot of daily use, the wires had snapped/sheared in half against the plastic, where they go in to the box. (As seen in a couple of other product review/customer photos) ...I agree with other reviewers, the design could definitely be improved in this regard! However I am otherwise really happy with the product as it fits the bill perfectly for me. It's nice and bright, and is small, flat, lightweight, and neat enough to tuck out of the way when not in use - invaluable, with my limited work space.

I wanted a light box to assist me in my tattoo portfolio. This is my first ever light box and I would buy the same one again and again! I wanted something that was light, portable and bright. It comes with clips to hold your paper in place and a switch so you can turn it on and off without having to get up to the plug socket. I would advise that if you are working on this in a darker light then dont look at it directly as you switch it on. That might be an obvious thing but thought i would throw it out there!I would have liked it to have come with a fabric wallet to store it in as it can get dusty quickly and scratches from the clips do become visable after awhile. But these are minor points to suit my preferance. All the light boxes I have come across are made out of wood, that I really didnt find suitable but this light box is modern, sturdy, light and a great buy.

Really useful product, makes my life sooooo much easier as I am constantly re-adjusting drawings, and tracing over my work!It is really nice and bright, but not blinding, and shines through lots of layers of paper, and even card which is super useful. Also the plastic is slightly static so the paper sticks to the surface which is great.Only problem is there is no box or wallet to keep it in, it just comes in it's cardboard box. It would have been nice for there to be some sort of container to store it in to keep it clean 'n' safe!

I use this to trace tattoo designs and do flash and it's super bright, Enables clear and easy tracing of designs and sketches from rough paper to thick (300gsm) watercolour paper with no problems, the clamps you get ensure that your paper stays in the same place without having to use tape...Also the ruler measurements on the sides help with positioning aswell which has proved super helpful, it's lightweight and durable aswell as being small, so great for taking on the road, it's LED so if you treat it well it'll probably last forever! Also has a switch on the cbale so you can flick it on and off with ease without having to go to the wall socket and the wire length is pretty generous so you should hopefully be able to reach a plug no matter how your workstation is laid out...so yeah at this price I'm super happy with it!

this works great there is just one problem with the cable where the cable exits the base of the light box, and I see other people have had the cable break at this point I have used a piece of double sided sticky tape to stop any movement of the cable at this point, because the edges of the exit hole are sharp, and with the movement of the cable this is where the cable will cut through. apart from this it works great and I am well pleased with it.

My wife uses this for transferring drawings from one medium to another. She doesn't have to worry about the light being just right or difficulty in seeing through thick paper. It works well for all normal watercolour papers.The only slight negatives (hence 4 stars) are that the edges of the top platen are a little sharp (it would have been nice if they were rounded) and the point of attachment of the cable looks very flimsy. One would have thought that some kind of strengthening support would have been built in.
