Love the cards, I'm a visual learner and I like being able to take the card out and place it in front me to duplicate the stitch. It's very well laid out and a good variety of stitches to learn.

Love these cards as it's easier than having to flip through a book and then keep it open while needlepointing. Bought them for family as well!

Great little reference guide for needlepoint stitches. I like that the guide in done on cards. That allows you to have the card in front of you while stitches rather than trying to hold a book open.

This sounded like a good idea. I once had needlepoint instruction cards that were only slightly larger than regular playing cards and were held together on a metal ring. I loved that and used it all the time, but gave it away 10 years ago when health problems made it difficult to do needlepointing. My problems have improved and I'm back needlepointing, but I've forgotten how do many stitches. I searched everywhere for a product like the one I gave away, but found nothing. When I saw these cards by Emma Homment, I was delighted and ordered them immediately. Unfortunately, the cards are so big that they are hard to handle. Plus, they don't slide like regular cards. Flipping through them to find the stitch I want takes much too long because they are hard to separate. I ended up buying Emma Homment's book and got instructions for more than twice the number of stitches than the cards. Plus I can dog ear the corner of the pages to get quick access to my favorite stitches. The cards and the book are full color with excellent and easy to understand instructions and beatiful designs. I'd definitely give Emma Homment's Needlepoint: A Modern Stitch Directory 5 stars because of it's ease of use, more patterns and easier to locate stitch instructions than her card set.

These cards are the best stitch guide I've ever found. Easy to choose a card and have it right next to you versus trying to work with a book or screen. This has changed my game. Thank you for a great product!! Would love to see as second set with more stitches.
