ASICS Women's Gel-Excite 9 Running Shoes

Needed a pair of ASICS to wear to work that shipped overnight. This is my 6th or 7th pair of ASICS and the least expensive. They fit perfectly out of the box and are very comfortable. Lightweight, too. I normally wear size 10 and have wide feet, but every pair of ASICS I’ve owned, I’ve needed a 10.5.

Love the ortho cushioning in these shoes. I am on my feet all day and walk over 5 miles daily easily. These shoes hold up and support my feet.

This is my second pair of Ascis. First pair I got during covid and I work in the health care. I am always on my feet. I always say I'm an old lady since I prefer comfort over style (other narrow popular sneakers). The contend-9 lasted few years but they got holes at the toe and side from the use. With the inside go worn down. I really like the ortholite in their brand. I got this pair few weeks ago and wear it only to work. I got so many complements. They are cute and comfortable. I hope these last as long as previous pair.

I actually really like these shoes for their price point. I bought them specifically because reviews seemed like they had adequate arch support. I have found they do not have enough arch support. They are pretty thick foam. If you're used to slim shoes like Converse, they are going to take some getting used to. I wear these with Smartwool socks from REI, and I walked 3-6 miles on a couple days. The first day I walked 3 miles in them, my feet hurt a lot afterwards. Maybe they do need some breaking in because the day I walked 6 miles, I had little to no discomfort. Just the normal weary feet after walking that much, and some pain because the arch support wasn't enough. No blisters, but that might be because of my socks (they are magic!!). The laces are a bit too short for me, and/or maybe I should have sized up since my socks are so thick.Edit: After having these shoes for almost a year, they are worn out and I'm getting ready to replace them. They lasted me 11 months, although they've been too worn out for maybe the last month or so of that. The ways they are wearing out can kind of be dealt with? The back of the inner heel has a hole worn through layers into the foam, and my big and pinky toes have worn holes into the top. The fabric they use for the shoe uppers is very breathable, which means it's easy for water to soak through, and it's soft enough that it wears out quickly. Now, the soles are still fine. If it weren't for the uppers, I could wear these shoes for probably another year. I've been using them almost daily for the gym, walking around town, etc. They did end up having decent arch support, at least it stopped hurting after I broke them in.

This is a great pair of tennis shoes. Roomy and comfortable. I have nothing negative to say!

I have been wearing Asics shoes since 2016 when my husband bought me my first pair for Christmas in 2016, and still wear that pair which is starting to show wear. Since then, I have bought a few more pairs and have also tried other brands. In my opinion, none of the other brands have provided the comfort, support, or longevity of the Asics shoes. I have tried some of the different styles of the Asics shoes, and have not had problems with lack of comfort of any of them.When I bought this pair of shoes, I was looking for something in coral. The color of these shoes is close, but it leans more toward the pink tones than coral and is lighter in color. Still, I like the color and will keep them since they fit well and are very comfortable.I hope this review was helpful for you.

The Asics Gel Excite shoes are some of my all time favorite shoes and this color one of the most fun out there! Pillowlike insoles make them so comfortable I can wear them all day without much foot fatigue. The upper mesh material is light for summertime and keeps my feet cool. My only regret with this pair is ordering the wrong size, so they need to be returned. I will be ordering another pair in the future.

Honestly, I bought this pair of shoes because I liked the color and I knew I would use them eventually. I was having buyer's remorse, but read a review that said they were like walking on pillows and I thought I would just try them on, but then I kept them because they are really the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I didn't work out with them, so I didn't rate that, but I walked with them a lot on walks with my dogs. In addition, I have plantar fasciitis and added an insert for extra support and help with heel pain, but I think the shoe without the insert would be great for someone without that issue. This shoe also made my plantar fasciitis not hurt during the day when I was on my feet all day as a teacher. I am going to Disney next month and buying a brand new pair for all that walking.

These were not the same quality as Asics I've bought previously, and the seller would not accept a return or make a refund even though the shoes were unworn.

I always buy Asics as my feet just seem to like them. I have RA and have started to walk regularly but noticed my feet have started to bother me so I ordered a new pair of Asics in hopes of some relief. These did not disappoint!! As soon as I put them on and walked around there was no discomfort at all. I still need to go on some long walks to see how they hold up, but I don't expect any issues. Great price for great shoes.

I have had this brand before & this purchase did not disappoint! They fit perfectly & are very comfortable for my daily walk! Love the navy blue colour & they don’t look overly big which is an additional plus! Very happy with my purchase! I have some aging issues with my feet but these feel so comfortable!
