Harry Potter - Scene It: The Complete Cinematic Journey

I bought this as an add on Christmas present for my wife a year ago. It was never designed to be more that a stocking filler but we have played it so much during the year.It is best played as a family game and my two Harry Potter mad children (aged 8 and 9) say it is their favourite family game we play. There is a nice mix between easy and difficult questions to keep you interested and the DVD clips mean plenty of shouting out and competitiveness.I didn't give it 5 stars because some of the questions seem a little more related to the books or they are of things that the films don't mention (e.g. names of characters that are never said on the screen). We just ignore these and choose a different question though, so it doesn't spoil our enjoyment!

We've played and enjoyed the original Scene It many times and loved it. So when we found out the full 8-film game was coming out, we had to purchase it.The game is good, a typical Scene It game with a couple of neat features that we've had fun with; namely the "Say it", "Act it" or "Draw it" where it flashes word on screen and your friends have to guess what you're acting/drawing/describing.However, compared to the original it seems a poorly made effort. The game pieces are cheap, plastic rubbish which are terrible compared to the original, high quality metal ones. I've also yet to see a film clip from Film 8, which is disappointing.Overall, if you haven't played the original or you want to test your Potter knowledge from all 8 films, you'll enjoy this a lot!

We have had endless fun with this game. We've played it probably 20 or 30 times and are still coming across cards and questions we've never had before. This game includes all eight of the Harry Potter movies and combines questions on cards that players have to read out with interactive questions and clips on the DVD. The clips are very low resolution so are a bit on the blurry side, but that doesn't really bother us.Harry Potter Scene It is great for all ages and can be a really quick game or a bit of a longer one depending on how you position the board.One of our family's favourite board games (I should add that we're all in our mid-twenties yet still love it!)

I purchased this game because I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I didn't want to pay $150 usd for on amazon.com. I got brave and ordered it from amazon.co.uk for a much lower price. After I place the order I noticed some of the comments said that the disk may not play outside of Europe. It is true, the disk did not work on my blu-ray or DVD player or even my MAC laptop, BUT it plays perfectly on my XBox One. Just wanted to share in case others from the US are looking to get this game for a reasonable price. As far as the game goes, it is everything I expected it to be. It covers all of the HP movies and is great for fans of all ages.

Very pleased with this game; it was fun to play and simple to catch on to. There are three different types of questions and then various things on the DVD so the variety makes it quite fun. I like the way it can be played on teams or singularly. I have very much enjoyed this game with friends and family, though I would say you have to be a major HP fan to play it because they questions are very hard! My only criticism is there is a rather complicated end to the game but I have just not used it which is a lot easier and I prefer it. Would really recommend this!

I received this for Xmas off my children. Yes, Mum is an avid Potter fan and we have had oh so much fun playing it.We have laughed so much. It's brought the family together as we all love HP and even my son who doesn't know heaps about it is enjoying it just as much.Yes, the quality of the clips isn't 100% but it doesn't bother us. It's still such a great present.Would recommend it to anyone who loves Harry Potter and loves to have a good time with family/friends. :)ps might add postage was so cheap for this item which was even better. Great value all around.

Selection of questions, apparently you shouldn't get the same question twice. The dvd is a bit slow but overall good fun to play. You also get the choice to play a short game if you don't want to play the full length game.

This game is good if you are a Harry Potter fan.It really can test your memory, it's easy to use and understand.The only thing I found disappointing was the fact that out of all the scene it games I ownthis is the only one with plastic pieces, all my others come with metal pieces.I think for the price that's a big let down.Other than that I would recommend this game to anyone.
