What a steal!!
This is hands down the softest and possibly the closest thing you will find to sleeping on a luxurious fur coat. I am not even exaggerating, I was actually skeptical when I got it due to the size of the box it came in. I thought it couldn't possibly be that nice. It's nice to be wrong once in awhile, especially when I finished unboxing it and pulled it out. It was like someone took a cloud and shoved it into this box, amazingly soft. I will say that it looks like it might make a bit of a mess after washing, so if anything bad happens to it, I will update, but by the looks of it I don't think it will be an issue. It looks and feels very well made, it is not too thick but also not thin and cheap either. Keeping you warm will not be a problem with this at all. I got the grey one and the color is just lovely. It is a little lighter than the photo, so it is a warm dove grey. I got this to pair with deep royal purple bedding, so the color combination is fantastic. Also I was not expecting this to be velvet, and I just assumed they meant velveteen, because why on earth would you want something so heavy and that can be easily damaged by stains. Not to mention if for some odd reason you did want an actual velvet duvet cover, why on earth would you think you could get it for under a few hundred dollars?? So please do not think that you will be getting actual velvet as it isn't. But you will enjoy this even more, trust me and buy this, you won't regret it.

Still Soft after Washing. Get IT
I bought this cover a while ago, and I wanted to wait until I washed it and had it for some time before I left a review. I love this duvet cover, and I even got the matching white fluffy pillow covers and the velvet ones as well. It's super soft, lightweight, and cute. There's basically no shedding and you might see little furry hairs here and there but nothing serious. I was really nervous when it came time to washing it because of some of the other reviews experiencing matting. However, when I washed it, I ran into no issues. I washed the cover and pillow cases inside out, delicate, and on very cold water. I did put the pillow cases in a washer bag bit I didn't have one big enough for the duvet cover. I did put them into the dryer on air fluff which is a very low setting on my dryer; I did have to put the same dryer on twice and it still wasn't fully dry so I let it air dry overnight. The final results were perfect, its still as soft as when I first received it. FIVE STARS.(the pictures I included are the results from after I washed it)

Ridiculously Soft
This duvet cover is amazing. It is SO fluffy and soft with no shedding that I've noticed. It makes my bed look like a cloud. My dog loves it too. I've always used comforters over duvet covers and they're so hard to wash, so I'm happy to have something big and fluffy that's small enough to wash when I need to! I would recommend not using any heat when washing and drying since I've owned other blankets made of this material and ruined the fluffiness by drying. Can't stop thinking about getting in bed now.Update: I've had this cover for over a year and a half now. It's lost a lot of it's softness on the furry side because the fur gets smushed and tangled over time, even though I've never used heat to wash it. The under part is still super soft and the overall look is fluffy, but I'll probably be buying another one to replace it since it's lost some of its magic.

The best kind of excessive, but also in need of a little bit of help.
Sometimes you look at your life and go, "Man, what did I ever want but never got from the 1999 Delia's catalog?" This duvet cover might not have explicitly been in there but holy to heck it definitely belongs there. Is it classy? No. Not in the slightest. Look at this thing. It's like you skinned Sweetums and dyed his fur. What it is, is absurd in the best ways possible. This duvet was told it needed to do one thing in life and it said "Sweetie, hold my drink. I'm gonna do it fabulously."On a base level, I love the heck out of this duvet. I like how fuzzy it is on the back and how fun it is to play with the shag on the top. You might be asking yourself, wait a minute, my good sir, why are you only giving it 4 stars?Well, like others have said it...it's a bit lacking in the construction department. The corner ties gave up on life almost immediately, though for the time I've been using it, my duvet has actually stayed more put than it ever did in the Target duvet cover so I suppose ymmv on that front. It's, well it's more a problem with the shag side, you see. Yes, it sheds some, but that's just kind of what happens when you're dealing with fuzz. I'm not fussed about that. My issue is that the seams that involve the fringe side seem weak because there is no backing (fabric, interfacing, anything at all) between that big ol' sheet of fluff and the underside. For the price, it's a big, big downside and the whole thing should be knocked down like $20 because I'm a little worried that I'm going to have to replace it sooner than I'd like.Other people have commented about weirdness with the zipper closure, that theirs was poorly attached or the tab felt too small. Mine was fine. I was actually much happier to have a zipper instead of those massive buttons it seems like most duvet covers have. I'm much less concerned now about which way the duvet is facing because there's no way I'm going to end up somehow snagging myself on buttons or worrying about them falling off in the wash. (Side note: Target, please get less terrible about attaching buttons to things, what is wrong with you?)Speaking of washing, maybe avoid using detergent pods if you happen to use them. I washed it immediately after getting it only to find that the shag/fringe/fuzz had decided that part of one of the pods belonged to it now and had a lovely corner of matted (though very nice smelling) fuzz where it happened. It took a bit of hand washing to tease most of it out. Again ymmv. Just a head's up.Shipping was pretty quick and like most others I was impressed and delighted at how small a box they could make it.I don't regret buying this. Honestly, if I had the energy I could probably just line the dang top myself. I might after the holidays when the fabric store is less of a nightmare hellscape, but again, something I'm gonna have to put that much work into making as it should be isn't exactly worth that kind of sticker price.I've also noticed plenty of people asking about if it's warm or if you can use it as a regular blanket. Here's my response to that:1 - I'm a person who likes to sleep as cold as physically possible. Even with the duvet in it, it doesn't retain a whole heck of a lot of heat. It looks like it should. It does not. This is great for me. It might not be for you. This is likely due, again, to the lack of anything backing the shag layer.2 - It isn't gonna be much good as a stand alone blanket. When you get comforters and duvets and quilts at the store they have all that extra stitching up and down to help keep things stable and contained. Obviously you can't do that on a duvet cover because the duvet needs to go inside of that. Without the stability of a duvet, the whole thing just kinda slides around on itself. It will probably slide right of your bed/couch/chair and it's not a good look. No one wants a completely deflated muppet pelt.HOWEVER, solutions exist! If you want this to both be warm and be a blanket instead of a duvet, Amazon sells fusible (ie - iron on) quilt batting (the inner fabric that helps with the bulk heat trapping to keep your butt warm under the quilt, I know these are terms a lot of people know already, but just know I'm listing them for people who don't and not trying to be sassy at other folks what do fiber arts.)Now, in theory, you could get some of this, turn the duvet inside out and carefully follow the package instructions to attach it to the fringe side, flip it back right side out and just as carefully (you'll want to avoid melting the shag or any part of this,) adhere it to the other side in a glorious proper blanket sandwich. This'll make washing it even more complicated, since there are some fusible battings that are only temp holds until you get the final stitching in place. You'll want to look around and see what would work best for you.I'm not saying this will completely work as I haven't tried it myself (though hey if someone wanted to donate another duvet cover to the cause, I'd be happy to take a stab at it and report back,) but it's the best solution I could come up with for turning the duvet cover from just a cover into a fully functional, warm blanket on its own.

Cosy doona cover wit NO pillow cases
Beautiful pink very lush. Very cosy when you are in bed. Way too expensive to not receive pillow covers. Shipping was normal considering COVID. Same as described

Super suave y calientito
Muy buena compra y llegó super rápido (como en 5 días). Está muy suave de arriba y sobre todo de la parte interna. También es muy calientita. Lo único es que sí tiene un olor sintético, pero con llevarla a la tintorería ya quedó. Compra recomendada.

The FLUFFIEST Blanket/Duvet Cover!
This blanket is absolutely beautiful and comfortable! It isn't as plush as the image, however I believe that is due to this being a duvet cover. This is great though because that means you can still use it during summer, just take out the duvet! The fur on it is shaggy and long, it also surprisingly does not shed a bunch (and isn't itchy). And if you're worried about the fur irritating you during sleep, the underside is a microfiber-like fabric, so you won't be sneezing. The white is also a warm white (and light ivory on the underside of the fur and blanket). So it would probably go good in warm colored rooms or with beige/ivory/warm color bed sets.Only con is I'm probably going to sew in some tie strings myself as it does not come with any, therefore the duvet may shift inside this cover.I bought this for my new room bed and I am completely satisfied, this is a quality product! It's very beautiful and comfortable, will be buying again if I need to replace it ♡
