Upgraded version works
I have the *upgraded* version and it does what it says it will do. It sits there in the middle and is basically a bluetooth receiver that connects to the controller, and it emulates a 360 controller to the computer. You are basically telling the dongle what the emulated controller is doing and that is it. The controller connection dropouts have reduced significantly for me from switching from a normal bluetooth nano receiver that Windows has full control over, which will result in all devices disconnecting when one disconnects (the controller just fully switches off when this happens). All issues with that nano receiver have vanished once I moved the controller over to this.It does have momentary freezes where it will stop taking inputs for a second, but this happens once every 3ish hours. I am not sure if there is a way to upgrade the firmware on it, but it does seem to be an adapter software issue.

Works, but signal strength is really weak
For a while, I was having some major problems with connectivity/response time. Turns out, if pretty much anything is obstructing the signal you will have problems. I remember I was having problems once because my coffee mug was blocking the receiver and they cleared up when I moved my mug. This kind of sucks because that means you very likely will need an extension to make sure nothing is blocking the signal. Aside from this, however, it works great and is easy to use. Also, the design might be a bit puzzling. It seems like you can plug another USB device into the end of it to improve your USB port economy, but this is not the case. The input into the USB device seems to be only for use with Xbox and other consoles that need it for compatibility.Would have been 5 stars easily if not for the connectivity issues. The connectivity issues lower my opinion of this product a lot because I am tempted to just use the Bluetooth feature on my controller rather than mess with this.Update: A little over 1 month later and it stops working. It's not my pc since I tested this with a different pc that it also used to work on. It's also not the controller's issue, since it works both wired and with bluetooth. Kind of insane that this can break after so little use. I didn't even do anything to it. It was working one afternoon, then that same evening it just wasn't anymore - I didn't even plug/unplug it.

cant say if it works
got it under Amazon's suggestion of "frequently bought together" for my kk3 max thinking it worked for it, it didn't, whether it was because it was bad or it doesn't work for this controller or what idk. make sure you read before buying because I sure didn't. I won't rate this as poor because their controller works fanominally I just cant do anything with this.

This is a great product, does work with Fortnite, there was that ONE problem.
This has been said in many reviews, the controller randomly disconnects.

Doesn’t support Xbox One
In order to use an offbrand controller (I.e. KK3 Max) you need to plug in an official Xbox controller with a USB cable to the adapter in order to “license” the adapter. Xbox One controllers don’t work. The webpage and manual state that you can use an Xbox One controller to license off-brand controllers, however you cannot.Xbox One controllers have no ability to give a wired connection (they only can connect wirelessly) which you need to license the Goku. You will need an Xbox Series controller to license the Goku for offbrand controllers because it has wired support. This is false advertising because the manual says that Xbox One controllers will work.
