Excellent Quality. Good size will fit fold up type chairs in and cushions and small umberella.Very sturdy and easy to put together even without instructions but you do need a bit of strength to lock it in place but that is why it is so strong. So far so good on water tightness, we had a downpour last night and all is well but I did take the advse of a previous reviewer and wiped off excess water from the lid before opening. I bought two but really as its such a good size one would have been fine.I did lots of research and paid alot more than some of the ones listed but I feel it is well worth the money if you want a long lasting unit.

I’m very impressed with this outdoor storage box, it was supper easy to assemble, sturdy, nice gas strut opening and bigger than expected so plenty of room for all my stuff.

This is a high quality outdoor storage box that can double up as a seat. It's huge.!!. I purchased this item to store seat cushions and sun lounger cushions during the summer. Will probably keep the cushions in the house for winter and use the Rockwood for heavier stuff to free up space in the garden shed, such as lawn mower etc.The reason for 4 stars is; I found a slight design fault in wet weather in terms of water seeping into the box from the bottom of the lid if you open it quickly. My advice is to tilt the box before opening or squeegee the surface rain water away before opening. If water gets into the Rockwood it is difficult to mop out due to nooks and crannies in the base. It is totally water proof while closed so no problem.Despite the above, I am very pleased with this purchase and it's worth paying a little more for this quality heavy duty item rather than a smaller cheaper alternative.

Best price I could find on internet - free delivery and it arrived in time for me to tidy the cushions out of my house and make way for a Halloween party. I am storing 6 very large thick patio chair cushions in it - for seat and back support; plus 6 small thin chair seat cushions and 2 foot stool cushions. There is ample room for all, it has been raining heavily and the items are perfectly dry inside. The box took around 20 minutes (before breakfast) to assemble - Probably would have been faster with more capable people! The assembly was as easy as ABC. Click together fitting with only 14 screws to strengthen assembly and add the support arms and lock. I did struggle slightly to push the fittings together as I don't have much strength, but my husband managed it fine.We won't be using the box to sit on, but it does have a steel frame and really can seat 2 people, though on our box there is room for 3.One word of warning, in my enthusiasm to put the box together and tidy my house, we assembled the 570L box indoors. We have a late Victorian home, so the internal doors are quite wide, but we have a standard sized kitchen door to the outside garden and the box was too large to carry through, so it had to exit via the patio doors. Would have been better in our case to have assembled it outside.

I bought one of these about 18 months ago. It is next to the chicken run and is just the right size for a whole bale of straw plus a 20kg bag of chicken feed. It has been out in the garden since about 30 mins after it arrived (my husband put it together easily on his own). I have had no problems with it at all and it is completely waterproof. I am so impressed that I am about to buy another one for my garden furniture cushions.Jan 2017 update - the box by the chicken run is still completely waterproof - the hinges no longer keep the lid open on its own so I prop it open with a stick. The second box is now used outside for wellies and other outdoor footwear. That one is also completely waterproof and the hinges are still working.

Excellent product, well packaged, easily constructed and perfect for storing the cushions for my garden furniture. Seems completely waterproof but only had it for a short while so need more time to confirm entirely weatherproof. I purchased this to store the cushions of my Roe Gardens Premium sofa with dining table and stools set 9 piece garden furniture. The cushions do fit, just, you will need a few attempts to work out the best way to fit them in, but they do fit. I checked them after being stored for a month or two of rain and the box was perfectly dry inside.

I purchased two chests and I'm delighted with them. They are sturdy, practical and the perfect colour for blending in against a dark oak coloured fence. My 10 year old grandson assembled the boxes with minimum help from my husband. If it has been raining make sure you quickly wipe water from the lid before opening otherwise you'll get water drips on on your cushions. The features I like are the wood effect, the carrying handles making it easy to move around and the fact there is no maintenance.. We use ours to sit on and sometimes as an extra table. I have eight large padded recliner cushions and six chair pads in one of them and there's still space for a few more things. In my other box I store my pop up gazebo and garden umbrella and a few odds and ends. I would certainly recommend these boxes as they are so versatile.

Came flat-packed, once I'd got it all out I was able to assemble it in around 20 minutes with the help of my 9 year old holding it steady whilst I slotted the next bit in.Spacious inside, have been able to fit all the flat and round cushions for a 7 piece (6-seat) rattan sofa set into it (bit of a squeeze to wedge that last round cushion down at the bottom to avoid it wanting to pop open, but we got there). Has been raining and hailing here every day since we put it outside, cushions are dry as a bone inside.My one concern had been would it look a bit cheap and plasticy. It doesn't. I'd probably put a throw on it if the Queen was coming round, but otherwise it'll sit just fine behind the rattan chairs on our patio and give us somewhere else to pop our drinks onto (the lid is about the same height as the top of the rattan chairs so it'd be unlikely we'd use it for extra seating as pictured - as that'd put the groins of the people sat on it around about at eye level of the people sat on the rattan stuff.

De momento, no hay nada que me haga dudar de sus características de almacenaje, estanqueidad y resistencia a la intemperie.Muy útil para guardar cualquier elemento (en tamaño y cantidad) de jardín o terraza como cojines, sombrillas, etc.

Aquistato aprile 2022, ad oggi non ci sono segni di cedimento! Robusto, molto capiente e soprattutto a tenuta stagna. Facile da montare con un pò di manualità per l'hobbistica. Bello anche da vedere e con un bel cuscino ci possiamo anche sedere in 2 sulle estremità che tengono meglio, al centro secondo me è meglio non sedersi a meno che non si metta un supporto interno che possa reggere il peso al centro. Consigliatissimo! Penso di acquistare anche la panca contenitore.
