Works as described and expected. A great separater.

This fat separator works great. The price is reasonable and separator is easy to disassemble for cleaning. Much easier to use than the older tilt type separators.

I would have preferred glass. Hot grease in plastic does not work well. Also harder to clean. I think the plastic will craze easily from hot liquids and grease. Time will tell if I wasted my money.

I am cooking my first turkey this year. I have been binging on Julia Chile nd Martha Stewart. I know, very high aspirations.I received mine yesterday as I was roasting a chicken. This amazing little gem was wonderful. I poured the pan juices in and movned on to starting the gravy. I turned around and the fat was happily sitting on the top. The bottom pouring enabled me to get the very last of that roasted chicken yumminess into my gravy.I like to use the drippings, like most home cooks, but was annoyed by the amount of fat. I like to save my fat calories for something else. This was so great. I plan on using it very often. I have it right next to my liquid measuring cups. Always handy!

Lower cup cracked after a couple uses. Replaced with the one recommended by Cooks Country.
