Maccourt W4214 Well Cover (43x14x12)

I needed to replace an old, hardened cover that was too big for the window well.This was as close as I could get to match the size, and it turned out to work well. To install it, I had to put river rock around the base so it wouldn't move & that did the trick.It's up against natural split granite veneer, so it would be tough to drill a bunch of holes to fasten it & I don't think I need to do that, anyway.I'm happy.

I was expecting slightly more heavy duty window well covers, so I was disappointed when I removed them from the box. At first I was skeptical since they appear to be very lightweight and therefore unable to withstand the weather we get in the upper midwest U.S. However, after I decided to put them in place, they surprised me. The covers fit our wells almost perfectly and the bottom lip hangs close enough to the ground that winds have so far been unable to move them. Also, these covers have yet to allow a drop of rain to enter the wells.These may not work for you if you need heavy duty window well covers, but for me they work surprisingly well.

Need cover to be thicker

Arrived on time with no damage, it was easy to install qnd worked very well for my project

Seems like decent quality for the money, fit good and should last a couple years

it looks like it will fit. I did not have time to install it before the winter snow got me. Will install when the weather warms u. thanks.

Got these thinking they would fit my windows but they don't. Went to return them and UPS wanted $115 to return them because of the size of the box. Asked the seller if they would refund me for the shipping and they told me no since it was a "voluntary" refund. Probably should mention that somewhere or be alittle more understanding. I would buy at lowes or something where they will allow to to return with no charge
