Software Installation Issue
OCTOBER 2023 - If you are buying this dongle to run with RTL1090 software to track aircraft, you might have issues. Worked fine using Windows 10.Recently bought new computer equipment all running Windows 11. The first two computers worked fine until there was a recent Windows 11 update . Now have 4 computers running Windows 11 and none of them allowing the RTL1090 software to launch after installation. When file is uninstalled and reinstalled, result is the same. Required file not found.Brought this to the attention of Jetvision. As far as they are concerned, the issue is with my computers saying that I need to install the necessary drivers. The drivers are included in the RTL1090 download file, so have no idea as to what kind of a response that is.Just as a final straw, tried setting it up on my sister's recently bought laptop also running Windows 11. Same thing happen.Needless to say I am not at all happy. My Aircraft tracking days using ADSBScope are now over.
