Got these for our 8-year-old and they fit him well. They provide noticeable support for his ankle, which has been giving him some trouble, and help stabilize it during activity. Helped my niece with her sprained ankle
Bought them for my niece who had twisted her ankle playing youth basketball. She has worn them in her past 3 games and she said that the help her out alot.

Uncomfortable
Good support, size was good but I had one complaint. The ribbing was very thick so it was very uncomfortable on my arch. I ended up cutting it - gave me some relief but would only use them in an emergency.
