Great product and I does what it says on the package! I really love it! Gentle on my stomach too! The pill is not hard to swallow, and goes down easy. Highly recommend this product. I am starting to feel better.

I've been consistently anemic for a little over a decade and unable to get levels up, outside of infusions. I've tried several kinds of at home iron supplements that haven't really affected my labs, like I'm not absorbing it or else I can't stomach enough pills to really make a difference. These haven't made me bloated or constipated, so that's great! I also think these are absorbing better because of how insanely thirsty I am. I haven't had this on other iron supplements, and it's apparently a sign that the body is absorbing the iron. A couple months before I'll get labs done again, but seems promising!

I rarely ever write Amazon reviews, but these really work. My ferritin level was at 4, and I had brain fog and fatigue 24/7. My doctor prescribed the traditional ferrous sulfate tablets, which my stomach cannot tolerate at all. I gave these a try, and I felt a difference within the first week. After only taking them for one month, my ferritin is now up to 21. If you’re struggling with low iron or ferritin, don’t take the awful tablets they give you that tear your stomach up. Just get these, trust me. They also do not turn your stool black.

So far it seems to absorb better than the drugstore brands

This is not gentle on the GI system, as advertised. It caused me GI problems such as upset stomach, bloating, digestive pain, cramps, and diarrhea. I used it once (one tablet) and had those symptoms and side effects. No better than regular iron supplement. I don't recommend it. Won't buy it again. Also, it is very pricey. Waste of money as I have 59 of 60 tablets left over and unreturnable. They need to offer a starter bottle with fewer tablets to see it is tolerable, and maybe offer lower potency tablets. Also, they are transitioning from old formula to new formula with fewer binders and no red dye, but there is no way to specify you want the new formula. They shouldn't be selling the old version without specifying you want the new version. They just want to get rid of their old supply. The bottle doesn't say it is the new version or the old. No way to tell except to compare ingredients online. Even the new formula contains a whole large list of ingredients, in addition to heme iron.

Way better on digestion but I can’t really comment on absorption. Regular iron definitely takes a tougher toll on your digestion.

Easy to swallow not like other brands . Easy on stomach and intestines. However, don't expect singnificant increase in ferritin in case you are still bleeding. Otherwise, it will help a lot. Hemeboost remains far much better than all non heme supplements.

I was sceptical about taking this product because every other iron supplement I've taken have made me ill (upset stomach, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, headaches and the likes.) This product is different. I have no side effects and it has really helped with keeping my blood levels at a normal level as tou can take it up to 3 times a day.
