Beurer TL 90 daylight lamp, light therapy lamp with variable tilt adjustment, treatment time display, white | pack of 1

I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder which is affected by the seasons over 20 years ago. I've used a lightbox over this period. I had one of the original lightboxes.Although, my new lightbox is easy on the eyes due to well dispersed light, it simply isn't bright enough at a reasonable sitting distance and is impossible to sit 15cm away to meet 10,000 lux. The closeness required to meet 10,000 lux was not mentioned in the description.I will be claiming my money back.I'm sure this product is perfect for those that have a mild condition but I have a very severe condition which requires more power. I like the timer, the size and the moveable light for better positioning. A good lamp but just not powerful enough for me.

I've noticed over the last few years that my mood Really dips over the autumn and winter to the point where I have difficulty functioning. I struggle with sleep, I put weight on and find it difficult to stick to routines and become very down. I had another smaller SAD lamp which I did notice a difference with but the effect from the Beurer Tl90 was pretty much immediate. The light is lovely and bright and really lights up the room. My sleeping is a lot better already and I am being active again and I've only had it for 4 or 5 days. My family say they can hear the difference in my voice. My partner begrudgingly came and used it with me the other day I think he was a bit skeptical, but since then he's been getting it out and eating his breakfast in front of it every morning without any prompting from me. He seems to have more energy too.

If I could give this 10 out of 5 I would. The difference this light has made to my life is huge!! I have had a difficult time over the last couple of years and as a consequence I was finding the need to sleep in the day a lot. I was just so exhausted, it was really debilitating. I decided to buy the lamp on the off chance it might help limit the need to sleep and my goodness it really does! It is a bit lamp but I have it on behind me while I study (I'm a full time mature student). It totally changes the light of my room to a daylight feel rather than a yellow glow. If I study with the lamp on I do not get tired at all! It has made such a difference. I can't recommend this enough!!

I noticed a difference within a few days. I moved to the UK from the US so I’m not used to these really short days and want to go to bed at 5pm, and it severely affects my depression. But when I come home from school, I sit under it for half an hour and I have energy to get through the rest of the day and I don’t struggle with my depression as much. It’s big but not too heavy to lift, and it doesn’t need any assembly- just plugged in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who gets the winter blues.

Fabulous SAD light. Works well and is actually effective. One does have to sit 20 cm away to do a treatment in 15 minutes. If sit 40cm away takes 30 minutes. It is large ( dimensions in description) so have have to move onto my desk to use - or it takes up too much room. But I don't mind that because it is such a fabulous Daylight lamp - really enjoying how it counterbalances the effects of little amount of sunshine now we have hit winter.Really like Beurer design ( also have a Beurer heat lamp which is also very effective) and the fact that for a good SAD light it is considerably cheaper than Lumie lights.

Nice and big but fits snugly on side table.. I'm using it to try and get some light due to SAD. Its only been a week so a bit early to say if it works. What I can say is that it's well made, works well and arrived in excellent condition. I shall update when I've used it for a while longer.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON WHO WAS SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION AND IT MADE A GREAT DIFFERENCE TO HIS HEALTH. HE WASN'T EATING SLEEPING OR ABLE TO DO WORK AROUND THE HOUSE. HE WAS WORKING IN A ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS AND HE HAD BEEN WORKING IN A ROOM WITH WINDOW AND SUNLIGHT COMING THROUGH IT. SO I BOUGHT THIS LAMP AND I AM WELL PLEASED WITH IT. WOULD RECOMMEND.

Bought two as Christmas presents for daughters. Did my homework this is one of the best lamps for a very good price. Extremely good service from seller. Both daughters very impressed. I am hoping Santa buys me one next Christmas. Runs silently and give out brilliant light that uplifting.

Nicely designed lamp at a good price. Compact and the stand folds flat into the lamp so it takes up little space for storage. I don't know whether it helps yet but live in hope.

Excellent, high quality lamp. Looks are very modern. The light intensity is very bright, but not overpowering or uncomfortable on the eye. The delivery service is excellent too.

Worm light... Works perfectly

This replaces my almost 20 year old lamp. Easy to use and convenient, a necessity as I have SAD during Autumn and winter.
