L'Oreal‎ Casting Sunkiss Jelly - 03 100ml

I did what you're not supposed to do - I tried this to lighten my coloured hair. It says it's for natural hair only, but I can tell you, it does work on coloured hair. But... it might take quite a bit of time and a fair amount of money, depending how dark your hair is to start with.I was getting my hair dyed a mid-dark chocolate brown for ten years, but my natural colour is a very dark blonde. I can't get to the salon anymore (and I've had no luck getting a home hairdresser in - don't ask), so I needed a way to allow my dark blonde roots to grow out. I wasn't sure if it's possible to get brown down to blonde, but I did my research and went to work with vitamin C tablets, knowing my colour was too old. I came across these boxes online, recommended by someone else, and I gave them a shot. After a few boxes I saw a real difference; the brown was going down to a more orangey blonde, but very slowly. I have to tell you, it took a fair number of boxes to finally declare myself a brunette no longer. It could be said that my hair is now blonde, but it's warm - this is a golden blonde dye, and I had red tones in my hair from the brown colour. My hair is still brassy except for the top, which is darker and cooler. I'm hoping I can fix this on my own with purple shampoo! This is to be expected if you are going from chocolate to blonde, because there are layers of red in your hair. If you're planning to do the same as me, be prepared for brass. But... I can tell you this jelly will take away your brunette colour and bring you towards the blonde that you want! This is great stuff.It's gentle, very gentle. The hair does not get damaged at all. I recommend blow-drying after you put it on, as it's very wet and the heat intensifies the colour. I have to say it again, though, if you're a mid - dark brown, it will take lots of boxes. It needs enormous patience and a strong will! I didn't really have a choice. It might be worth getting to a salon if you can, it might not be much cheaper in the end to get the result you want. But if you're like me and can't get to a hairdresser, go ahead and try this. It'll do the job... just slowly.

cannot rave about this enough; saved a fortune in hairdressing bills and people are noticing the colour MORE than id I had been to a hairdresser; I wouldn't be without it; naturally mousy brown but now have lovely strands of blonde :-)

Because I have used this product before, I can remember how to use it, which is useful as I am not fluent in POLISH. When ordering I had to say I was in England, so why was I sent the Polish version, unless it was showing the details in several different languages, which it obviously wasn't!!
