This mask is fantastic. I have been using this product for 2
This mask is fantastic. I have been using this product for 2.5 years and it still is amazing to see how it transforms my skin. My face looks relaxed and the fine lines disappear. I use it with the scrub and professional cleanser which is excellent.

Far Too Expensive
The first thing I have to say is that for the price this product does not look much when it arrives. It is packaged poorly, a small tube bunged into a cheap plastic box, with a small foam brush attached. This is somewhat disappointing. The product itself is easy, if a little slow to apply. It is more runny than I would have expected, however, it applies well. I agree with other reviews that the instructions are somewhat lacking and it is a good job I read other reviews before using as it is difficult to work out to keep away from eyebrows and eyes. Now, on to the product itself. As I say it covers well and takes some time to dry.It tightens as it dries, which is what I would expect from a product such as this. Other reviewers have said it took a bit of effort to rinse off but I did not find this. Is my skin looking better? After a couple of applications I would say so. However, as there is only enough for roughly three applications, I will not be using this product again. I think it is highly overpriced and not suitable to be used as regularly as the manufacturers would suggest. Therefore overall, I would not be able to recommend unless you have a large disposal income. This is a shame as this has the potential to be a great product

Disappointed
This product has been tested on my wife for 3 weeks. The 2 factors we have considered are the effect on her skin and also the cost.First the cost. It is hard to believe this retails at over £50. The presentation is a bit poor and the writing on the back, which is tiny, has at least a spelling mistake (maybe I wasn't meant to read it).In use, my wife's initial enthusiasm at the price (surely it must be fantastic) didn't last long. Over the past weeks she has found it greasy and actually didn't enjoy using it. The effect on her skin was, in her opinion, no better than using Boots products at a quarter of the price. She has stuck with it but I can tell this is under mild duress. Luckily 50ml didn't last that long, again value has to be considered.Beware eyebrow bleaching - we hadn't realised this at first (luckily it didn't affect my wife)Overall, this product just doesn't come across as premium and if there was a blind test I am sure people would agree. Sorry, but I can't recommend it.

Not special enough to justify its cost
The price tag of this face mask meant the results would have had to be truly spectacular for it to justify its cost, especially as the bottle is so small that you'll only get 4 or 5 applications out of it at the most. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this product for several reasons:1. As other reviewers have commented, the packaging is shoddy and arrived battered. The brush provided with the face mask is stuck untidily to the side of the box. It doesn't look like a premium product.2. The introductions were hopelessly unclear. The booklet I received covered all the products in the Karin Herzog range and it was hard enough to find the correct product among the tiny print. I thought I had read the correct introductions, but reading other reviews, I was totally unaware that the product should be kept away from the eyebrows as it might bleach them! Fortunately I seem to have avoided this! I think this information should be conveyed much more clearly.3. The face mask itself is not particularly pleasant to use. It has a nice citrus scent but feels more like a thick moisturising cream than a face mask. I liked the way it bubbled slightly on the face, but found that it made my face itchy because it was slowly sliding down the skin, unlike other face masks I've used, which stay put.4. The mask did make my skin smoother, but also made it look rather greasy. I suspect this mask would be more suitable for those with very dry skin/older skin - I have combination skin and am in my late twenties. To be fair, I would normally not choose a moisturising mask like this, as I prefer exfoliating face masks. However, it didn't seem to have a spectacular effect even on the dry areas of my skin - no better than a regular priced face mask.I have given this product two stars, instead of one, because it might be more effective for those with different skin types, and because it did make my skin feel smoother and more relaxed. However, it seems likely that you could gain similar effects from other face masks at a fraction of the price. I won't be swayed from my Body Shop favourites.
