KODAK10C Color Ink for Cartridge Easyshare 5000 Series, ESP 3,5,7,9, 3200, 5200, 7200, 9200 Series, ESP Office 6100

Problem showed up after only one month and little usage. Printer was showing that the cartage was low on ink. Could be a problem with the sensor or cartage. Does seem to print if the printer doesn't lock up with the LOW INK warning.

Shipped and received very quickly. Works as it should. Although, ever since I bought this particular printer. (I purchased it because the ink prices were lower than Cannon and HP and a few other ones I have owned over the years) The lower price is true. BUT!!!! for some reason the color cartridge always runs out in a few months. Never had one last more than 6 months. I print very sparsely... and I with the amount of printing (especially color printing) I do. I would expect the color cartridge to last at least a year like the (HP would , for instance). So, in that I am disappointed. It was suggested to me by a sales person at Best Buy that perhaps the ink was being dried up since I was not using the printer on a regular basis... I considered this and think maybe it has some truth to it. But again, should not the ink last as long as it's full a regardless of how much I print. His suggestion was that I purge the cartridge every so often to see if that helps but that also uses a lot of ink for that process... Anyone else come across this particular scenario? I am not complaining because I really like the printer and the color are very vivid indeed. The ink cost less it just doe not last 1/2 as long as I am used to. Has me a little confused.

I have been using Kodak cartridges for many years now - and they work perfectly with my Kodak Printer.

Extremely stable in sunlight over years. Waterproof. Even works on other surfaces not designed for inkjet, if careful.

This is THE ACTUAL Kodak ink. So if that's what you need and are willing to pay for it. Rest assured that's what you get. My Kodak AIO 7 uses this ink and I have tried off brand ink in other printers with not so good results. So I didn't want to take a chance with something other than factory ink. If you just print on regular ink jet paper and are not printing to premium photo paper, you can probably get by with something less expensive.

I need them and most stores don't carry. I would use generic ink but printer is too fussy.
