Great Product!
We recently installed two touchscreen HP all-in-ones for visitors to sign in and out when onsite. The software we are using also allows us to require a signature when signing in, and I wanted something to make that more natural than using a finger. I looked at a lot of other touchscreen pens, but I settled on these for the durable looking tips and nice color range. Ended up order the silver, black and red pack as our company colors are red and black. Now that we have them in hand, they have a great feel to them and I can see the tips lasting much longer than the standard version. I also really like that they send a replacement nib for each pen, as well as a cord for each to attach them to your mobile device/tablet (even though I don't personally need them). Also included is a dust cloth and plastic zip up bag for storing all the pieces! Honestly, any company that sends me a case to store all the extras in so I don't lose them is a company I can happily support! Plus, you can never have too many screen cleaning clothes :) My only complaint, which is more a personal preference than an actual issue, is I wish they were a little heavier so they felt more like a pen this size would feel when signing. But, if you are looking for something light to use for extended periods of time, these will definitely minimize the strain and keep your hand from tiring! I will definitely be purchasing more of these once the three I have now wander off :)

Best Value, Great Functionality
This is a review of five different styluses that I have used extensively through the years. What I’ve done is written five separate reviews and combined them into one review. Rating Criteria is generally as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc. My primary use for styluses is as a pencil replacement. I use Notability on my iPads to take notes during meetings at work M-F and for church work on Sunday so have a lot of experience with them—I’ve been using them since the first iPad came out. A few general comments: for me, using it as a note taking device, 4.75 inches is about as small as I could find useful and still write like a pencil. Your mileage may vary. As far as lanyards go, they have their uses. A permanently mounted tablet, like I did in my son’s bedroom, is one application where you can always have the stylus right there where you need it. There is a bagel place here in town that uses an iPad mini for its point of sale system—I could see that being another good application for a headphone jack attachment system. Pocket clips are another issue—I like them for my application and wouldn’t buy a stylus without one. No one should deduct points because a stylus doesn’t come with a lanyard or pocket clip—if that is important to you buy one that includes those features. All of these were used with an iPad 3 under similar circumstances. Acase Slim Stylus Acase(TM) Stylus - A-ccurate Slim Stylus Pen for Touchscreen Devices Including Kindle Fire, Apple iPad/iPad2/iPad3, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry PlayBook (Jet Black). (Three Stars) After using a series of basic, almost throw-away foam styluses with my iPad I bought this Acase stylus for $7.99 in February 2012. (I still have it but never use it.) I like the idea of a thinner tip. Compared to the styluses I had been using, this is a very good stylus. The rubber tip is superior to the foam ones I had used. The one advantage to a rubber tip is that it “grabs” the screen just a tiny bit, replicating the feel of a pen or pencil being drawn across a piece of paper. It is also a good length that feels like a pen or pencil, and the stylus has some heft to it that projects high quality. It comes with a lanyard on it as well as a pocket clip. The low rating on this device may just be the limitations of a thinner, rubber tip—but after about 8 months I could start to notice more “lag”, where I would move the stylus but the iPad wouldn’t pick it up, more “breaks” in sentences where the device would just briefly stop picking up the stylus’s signal, and just a breakdown in the overall quality of the signal being picked up by the iPad. Having said that, I liked the stylus enough that I replaced it with another of the same stylus—because it really does create a very natural feel to write with, and the experience when this stylus was new was just very good. With a price of $7.99 and a lifespan of 8 months, I just couldn’t justify buying more of these and discovered the hybrid tipped stylus. The amPen Hybrid Stylus Stylus, amPen Hybrid Stylus for iPad Air, iPad Pro, iPad 2/3/4, iPad Mini 2/4, iPhone 6 Plus/6, Nexus 5x/6P, Galaxy Tab S2/E/A/8.0, Galaxy S6 Edge/S6/S5 (Interchangeable Hybrid Tip Feature) Black (Five Stars) I bought this December 26, 2012—after ensuring that the world had not ended five days earlier. The price was $8.95 at that time. I used it almost daily for two years. This is a five-star stylus because it does exactly what I expected it to do and the price at the time was great, and it has since come down another $1.00. This is slightly shorter than a normal pencil. I don’t think it fair to deduct points for the length of an item that has the dimensions clearly listed, but I can understand why the length of this one might throw some people off. Its not a “mini stylus” which are usually marketed for their small size, but its shorter than many other popular models, so if you order this just double check you are Ok with the 4.75” length. Writing with it is easy—it is very smooth. For me, a six-foot male with proportionate sized hands the length is long enough that it does not cramp my hand when writing for extended periods of time. However, if you have larger than average hands it might not be possible to hold this like a pencil as you write. It is perfectly responsive on any application I used it with. It comes with a lanyard and also has a pocket clip. After several months, the pocket clip developed a wobble—it never fell off but it just wiggled about 1mm back and forth—no big deal and it didn’t change my rating. I dropped this stylus on the cement sidewalk one day and it landed directly on the microfiber tip, opening a small hole. This caused that portion of the tip to no longer work, so I ordered another one of these. However, as long as you hold the stylus correctly to make sure the “hole” isn’t facing the screen, the stylus still works. I eventually got tired of forgetting my stylus at work when I needed it at home and vice versa, so I researched a little more and tried a new stylus. TruGlide Pro Universal Stylus TruGlide Pro Universal Stylus Mesh Fiber Fine Point Stylus Pen for All Capacitive Touchscreen Smartphones and Tablets (Silver with Replaceable Black Microfiber Tip) (Three Stars) I bought this after my amPen had its accident, in October 2014 for $14.99. I had tried a slimmer (rubber) tipped stylus earlier (the Acase) and wanted to try a slimmer microfiber tip, since the microfiber tipped amPen was so much better than the thinner-tipped Acase. This one gets three stars because not only was it the most expensive stylus that I bought, it was my least effective microfiber tipped stylus. Construction quality was very good—in fact it’s probably my favorite stylus as far as weight, form, perception of quality, etc—it just feels like it’s a BMW and the others are Toyotas. Not saying the others are bad, but this one just feels the best. However, despite the microfiber tip, it writes like my Acase rubber tipped stylus did after 6 months of use. It requires more pressure than any of the other microfiber tipped ones do, but it also “grabs” every once in a while in a way that has simply never happened with any of the other similar ones. I use a stylus like a pen or pencil to take notes on Notability, and this was the hardest stylus to use that way. It “skips” during long sentences sometimes. My biggest complaint though is what I call “stylus lag”, which is the lag between the time you start writing with the stylus to the time the program recognizing what you are doing. All styluses seem to have this issue from time to time, sometimes you lose the first half inch of what you are writing, sometimes more. But it just seemed like this stylus “lagged” more often than any of the other ones I’ve used. The TruGlide Pro does come with a lanyard a pencil clip. I never had any problems with the tip getting dirty. I still give this three stars, and if I could would give it 3.5, because although the other styluses I have used are superior to this one, this TruGlide Pro was still adequate—its not like it was useless. Modifying my writing style helped clean the “lag” up to reasonable levels as well. But after a couple months I realized I was just using my damaged amPen more than I was using this one so I decided to do some shopping once more. (THIS PRODUCT) The Friendly Swede Replaceable Tip Hybrid Stylus The Friendly Swede Replaceable Tip Hybrid Stylus (3 Pack), Red, Black and Silver (Five Stars) I bought this package on August 25, 2015 for $10.99, and have used one of these at work and another one at home/church extensively since then. I purchased this brand when I needed a replacement for my previous amPen Hybrid Stylus because I got a three pack and could use one at work and one at home and also have an extra. I was otherwise satisfied with the amPen. This feels the most like a normal pencil of the styluses I have reviewed here since its dimensions are close to a pencil. The microfiber tip glides over the screen as it should. This comes with a clip for a shirt pocket, which I also use to keep it in place in my computer bag/briefcase. It also comes with a lanyard and microfiber cloth to clean a screen. Durability has been fine. My only complaint is that the tip has twice fallen off in my bag or shirt pocket. They are replaceable, which is a great idea, but for whatever reason on my work stylus the tip has wiggled itself lose twice. If I could deduct half a point, I would do so, because that is a design flaw. If it does it again I will put some Loctite or something on it. I have not had any problem with the microfiber tip getting dirty, and I do not use any extra precautions. I treat it just like I would treat a pen with the lid on—I clip it into its spot in my case and sometimes just toss it into the case. The TruGlide Stylus with Microfiber Tip, TruGlide Stylus with Microfiber Tip for new iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone 5, iPhone 4, Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Smartphone, Nook, all Touch Screen Tablets (Classic Black with Tether) (Five Stars) is a smaller stylus with a microfiber tip that I got for a specific application, not note taking. The price was $7.99 when I purchased it on August 25, 2015. This is a five-star stylus, if you are looking for a smaller stylus. If you are using a stylus for a pencil-like experience on a larger tablet, this will work but just keep in mind it is shorter than a regular pencil. For some, that is going to be a “plus” because it may be easier to use with programs that use “wrist detection” in the software program but for others it will seem unnatural. I don’t think it is fair to deduct points for the size of this when it clearly states its dimensions in the product description. The responsiveness is great, it glides across the screen perfectly, and the price is fair. I bought two of these and they both seemed to be of good initial quality. I have used these in daily use, but to be fair these have received the least amount of use of all the styluses in this review—but they have not had durability problems. I like the fact that it comes with a mounting option to use the headphone jack. In practice, however, I don’t think that is as useful as I thought it would be. Instead, I have mounted a tablet in-wall in my kid’s bedroom, and hidden a strong magnet in the wall. I disassembled this stylus and put a steel nail inside the hollow body, then reassembled the stylus so he can just stick this to the magnetic part of the wall. There is no clip on this to clip it on to your shirt pocket or anything else.

Great value and utility without spending a chunk of cash
These are definitely some nifty little styli. I do a lot of gaming on my phone, a Galaxy S4 in a Defender series OtterBox, and had already gone through two rubber-tipped styli in as many weeks. Obviously, a more long-term solution was needed. I picked these because there were multiple styli in the package, the tips were replaceable, and the price was very reasonable. The tips appear to be a soft metal mesh. Initially, I was concerned that the mesh could cause damage, but there's no damage at all after a month of using them extensively. After about 2-3 weeks of use, the tips will dent in a bit, but this can be accounted for and hasn't affected my usage at all. I did encounter a defect in one of the styli and mentioned it to The Friendly Swede's customer support team. The reps I corresponded with were polite, prompt, and extremely professional. They went above and beyond what I would have expected to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. You did an awesome job, Catharina, Katie, and Jessie! I'll definitely be back if/when I manage to wear these out! :D

Better than expected.
Review based on limited experience with capacitive stylus pens. 2 different "rubber" tipped and this micro-knit tipped pen. The generic rubber tip unit was a worthless "freebie" that came with a tablet case. Grippy, spotty function. The other was a finer tip model marketed by Friendly Swede. Functions nice. But inferior relative to their micro-knit unit. Pros: Smooth action. Slides smoothly across the iPad's surface. Sensitive. Light touch. 45 to 90* vs. 60 to 90* angle for their fine tipped model. Finer contact point. Replaceable tip. The negatives are all user specific issues. Don't care for the pocket clip or earbud jack retention plug. Bit longer than ideal. Conclusion: Good value. 3 pens plus replacement tips. Tip require no tools to replace. Replacement tips available. Function exceeded expectations. 4****s for now. Tips seem durable. No visible wear or decrease in function after +1week of daily use writing notes, key stroking, gaming and sketching.

Best smartphone stylus I’ve used yet. So good I’ve purchased them twice!
2019 Review It’s been two years since I last purchased this particular type of stylus and I obviously found them to be of high quality; they are, if I’m purchasing them yet again. Those previously purchased never failed me and lasted far longer than my ability to keep up with them. Of the original three only one remains and that’s pretty much the only reason I needed to buy them again. The first set was 3 stylus with fiber tip plus 3 replacement tips. I still have one unused replacement tip remaining with the addition of 3 more in this order. As like anything the tips do wear and they do get dirty in time, but I found that a bit of Woolite, a cold water rinse, and a minute or two under my girlfriend’s hair dryer brought the microfiber tips right back to life and caused zero damage in the form of scratches on the NanoCeram screen of my iPhone X and now my iPhone XS Max. Trust me the screens on both of those phones run about $275-$375 respectively to replace so there’s no way I’d purposefully introduce anything that could potentially damage them. I use these stylus’s almost as much as my actual fingers when operating my phone and truth be told they are far less prone to leaving any sort of residue on the screen compared to my 8 digits & 2 opposable thumbs. The only complaint I have about these is that the lanyards that come with them are in no way compatible with any iPhone that comes without a home button, such as the two I’ve had since purchasing Friendly Swedes, because iPhone eliminated the headphone jack the lanyard would plug into in order to create room for the notch that holds the hardware that makes facial recognition and a home button free platform possible. This is by no means a reason to lessen the well deserved accolades that these stylus’s deserve. Seriously folks microfiber is the way to go when it comes to stylus design because rubber tips are pure garbage compared to these. Oh and kudos to Amazon fulfillment for getting these from warehouse to my front door in less than 15 hours. All around positive purchase. :) 2017 Review I’ve finally found a stylus to use with my iPhone X that far surpasses any I’ve tried before. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Best I've ever used!
These have mesh tips that are every bit as good as Lynktec's fantastic styli, except with more weight and length (which I really like), and you get WAY MORE STUFF for the same price! The lanyards work great, there are replacement tips, and there are screen cleaning cloths. This is an incredible deal. I also recommend, to get more also very good styli for even cheaper, Libberway pack of 10 styli: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IHBVGOM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but I personally prefer the length, heft, and tip of the Friendly Swede ones. I plan to stick with these. EDIT: After months of constant daily use, I have just now finally switched the first stylus head. I am so pleased, that I came on here to make SURE I wrote a glowing review of these. Cannot emphasize enough how much better these are than anything else I've tried, at any price. Just as good as Lynktec, and last FAR longer.

Reengineered Stylus Kills Older Designs in Head-to-Head Competition (3 Minor Modifications Recommended)
I had previously purchased other brands of electrostatic styluses for touchscreen devices. These earlier models had a thin rubber dome tip that was easily torn, often after only a short use period, making them of no further use with a touchscreen. The Friendly Swede design has a threaded, knit fiber tipped head that screws into the stylus handle. With use, these stylus heads can become unscrewed from the handle on their own. It’s best to catch this process before the unscrewed head spins completely off and bounces out of sight on the floor. Placing a small lock-washer or silicone O-ring between the tip head and the stylus handle can prevent the head from unscrewing unintentionally. The O-ring has the added benefit of making your stylus water-proof. These newly designed styluses have knit fiber tips that routinely provide enough electrostatic charge to trigger sensors. Successful triggering in the newer stylus averaged an unprecedented 94% trigger rate. Using the older design, the trigger rate averaged only 68%. Trigger rate is simply the number of successful touchscreen sensor activations for each tap of the stylus on the screen sensor. Only a single series of 100 taps for each design stylus (total=200 taps) were run on the same Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone with a protective glass cover adhered over the touchscreen. (Not a scientific study). The knit tips, as opposed to the design with the thin rubber dome tips that were easily torn, proved to be much more durable and lasting more than three times longer than the rubber-tipped units. Another advantage of these reengineered styluses is that the tip heads are replaceable, which is not the case with the older design. In addition, the long, elastic-stretch lanyard that comes with the Friendly Swede stylus attaches the stylus to your phone through a plastic, tapered stem that plugs into the audio jack, providing help to keep your phone and its lanyard from pulling away from each other. At14 inches in length, this stretch lanyard, compared to the dated design (non-stretch line) at little more than 2 inches in length is too long for my purposes so I cut the stretch line in half and reattached one end connecter; with the stretchable line at 7 inches length, the audio plug blank can remain plugged in while you use the stylus and phone. The small clamp piece at both ends of the stretch line can allow the stretch line to disconnect from its tiny connector pieces. Apparently, when tension stretches the line to be longer it also becomes quite a bit smaller in diameter. At some point, the line is thin enough to disconnect from the connector. To reattach this, spread open the tiny flaps of the small connecting piece, then stretch the end of your line until it's thin enough to be guided into the groove in the clamp made by flap separation. Using needle-nose pliers or a smaller clamp, squeeze the clamp flaps down against the line pinning it in place. Put a drop of superglue over any remaining gap between the clamp flaps and on the cut line end just poking its tip outside of the clamped flaps. This will help keep your stretch lines secure to the connectors at either end of the line. Included in the 3 stylus package is 3 styluses with attached fiber tipped heads; 3 extra tip heads, threaded, that screw into the base of the stylus handle; 3 stretch lanyards; and a small microfiber cleaning clothe. A light and gentle cleaning solution like that used to clean LCD screens, can be used with the microfiber clothe to periodically clean your stylus and lanyard. (Harsh chemicals, i.e. isopropyl alcohol, bleach, ammonia, vinegar or any type of acidic fluid may damage the stylus/lanyard).

Canetas certas!
Estas são as canetas certas para ecrãs tácteis! Tamanho certo, ponta perfeita. Há outro modelo mais pequeno da mesma marca, que se vende em pacotes de 6 unidades e é mais barato, mas não tem a mesma qualidade. Já experimentei diferentes modelos de outras marcas, mas esta é, claramente, a melhor.
