Adore Shining Semi Permanent Hair Colour, 197 Periwinkle

love these products... being semi permanent you know it won't last, but thats exactly what I needed. Its a great way to try out funky colours. My hair is dyed blonde, with different tones, so the colours go on and looks like I've been to the hairdressers and had streaks. I put on dry hair and leave for about 15-20 min. The colour washes out within a few days, but I do wash my hair daily. Always get positive comments after I've used these from friends and colleagues, also makes my hair look soft and shiny. Recommend if you like to experiment with a new colour (the periwinkle makes my hair go a funky grey hue, and has purple streaks, sounds wrong, but actually looks fab)

Easy to apply. Gives a good colour. I've bought many in the past. Washes out slowly.

I followed the exact instructions on blond hair. Not sure what happened but It didn't take at all. Hairs the same colour.

Such a pretty pastel purple blue which fades into a nice silver. It does unfortunately fade quickly and it does leave my hair feeling "chemically" but those are things that naturally comes with dyes.

Really lovely colour but barely lasted 2 washes before it was so faint. Also faded to a turquoise green which wasn’t nice. Ok if you want a very temporary change or for a one off event. Shame because the colour is lush

This works really well to tone blonde hair and remove brassiness. I mix with conditioner and leave on for about an hour. Took out the yellow tones really well. I've used the orange toned one to remove green from my hair as well, which also worked really well

I put the hair dye on twice, because the first time I couldn't see anything (the hair I died was almost white grey). The 2nd time I can just about make out a tiny hint of lavender/blue. I'm now going to bleach the hair first. For some reason I thought grey hair will take on the colour, like blond hair, but it doesn't at all.

Really pretty color, and light enough to blend if you want to.

Difficult to get any colour to stay in hair (i tried their method and various of my own).

Your hair has to be bleached very light for this product to stick. It only really stuck to the super white parts at the ends of my hair and the darker blonde shades didn’t take the dye too well. Overall very pretty shade, just make sure your hair is light enough.
