Finish Freshener Lemon And Lime (pack Of 3)

Excellent dishwasher freshener. It gives the dishwasher a clean, refreshing lemon and lime scent and helps keep it smelling fresh after use. The fragrance is pleasant and fresh without being unpleasant. I’m very happy with the result, and the pack of three is convenient as well. Definitely a product I would buy again.

When I invested in a Bosch dishwasher for the sound insulation I didn’t realize that it would be so airtight that it sealed in all odors! Despite cleaning the filter often, and running loads with vinegar, those actions never helped much, or for longer than a day. I assumed that it might be because I run it maybe once weekly, so I got more obsessed with over rinsing what I put in, no help! This device fixed the odor starting from day 1. I did notice a faint chemical lemon scent at first, but once I moved it to the very back of the top rack, it was perfect- no bad smells and no detectable scent either. Don’t know how long it will last, I’m sure it would depend on how many cycles get run, so it probably will be different for everyone, however it comes with more than one in a package so when the unpleasant odors return, I’ll replace it then, and will definitely reorder when I get down to the last one. Great to find a product that is effective, fairly priced, hassle free and exceeds expectations! I no longer cringe when I open the dishwasher!

These do a great job of taking away the sometimes yucky smell of my dishwasher. I only wish they made refills, as the holder is still in fine shape. I'm not seeing refills as an option to buy.

Ok yes the fact that we're buying dishwasher fresheners at all is ridiculous. BUT. An airtight dishwasher combined with humidity and poorly scraped plates mean that everytime the dishwasher gets opened, it emits a waft of nasty air that literally turns my stomach. I'd bought the Miele brand freshener in the past and it was perfect. A mild lemony smell that was just kind of there. I was lured into buying the Finish brand one as it costs less and I figured, how different can they be? Well as it turns out, quite a bit. This one tries to beat the gross dishwasher smell into submission so what I get is overpowering humid lemon food wafts. I figured I'd deal but after I ran the first load, I found that anything plastic I washed absorbed the lemon - not awesome when it came to my plastic (acrylic?) straws and cups, so my smoothies and such now taste of articifical lemon. I get it, Finish. You make powerful lemony things that go to eleven. Yay you. I have two of these left and one from Miele on the way. Life is too short.

These are awesome. The time between loading the dishes and washing your dishwasher can be several days and sometimes can be smelly. These provide a light hint of lemon scent. One has been in there for several months, so they last quite some time. After the dishwasher is ran the heat of the drying makes it smell fresh. Happy with my purchase.

It’s not all that. It is easy to clip into the dishwasher and leaves a very mild citrusy scent but not much else. I didn’t notice my dishes were any cleaner. It was expensive for what it is, so I don’t think I’ll purchase again
