Necomimi Europe Cat Ears Neurowear Cosplay Nekomimi

I really love my necomimi. They are cute, they work perfectly and they can stay ON for a few hours. However, the headgear is really uncomfortable to wear after 30min, as it presses hard against your head. Same goes for the clip on your earlobe, which is OK for a while, but begins to be painful after an hour. It works perfectly if you use it as a gadget at home to have fun 15min, but if you were thinking about LARP/Cosplay, I would recommend avoiding yourself a headache by wrapping cotton under the headset. You can easily hide the headset under a wig so only the ears would pop out, to make it more "realistic" for photoshoot or LARP.

My daughter loved these when she got them, but the pack and sensor are hard to hide even in her long hair. The battery runs out fast and to be honest, I am sceptical about the claim that this product can read & react to brainwaves. The movements seem random to me.

Firstly on unboxing and removing the ears from the packaging I felt the battery compartment was very sticky.It appears the rubberised coating has started to rub off and the result was a sticky mess.In regards to the product, I'm not convinced the item reads brainwaves. The movements seem to be the same all the time.

Although it took a long time to arrive, and we had to pay extra duties on top of what we had already spent on this gift, it was well received and was a lot of fun to play with

Wore these at a video game convention and they were greatly received.

Updated: Got this new headset. It's much better. Not broken (though the motors do get a little stuck) and may or may not have already drained my batteries... whoops. This was a good cosplay item, and now it actually works, it's almost perfectOriginal: The ear clip was broken upon arrival. After one use, the plastic around the hinge snapped, the small metal bar disappeared and is now unusable. Unimpressed considering the priceThe left ear (on the same side, funnily enough) gets stuck occasionally.

Returned. The instructions were in Japanese and although there were diagrams to help explain setting up the product, they were unclear. One in particular seemed to show something that I couldn't identify, but as one of the compartments was empty in the molded plastic tray in which the product was packed, it may be that part of the item was missing.

They're ok, my daughter says they just react the same way, not sure if brainwaves do anything!
