Great heater for large spaces
We have a 3 story home in northern IL. The basement is always colder in the winter and need some thing to just add a little heat and take the chill out of the air so the kid can play downstairs. This little heater works great to add that little extra heat. It is fairly light and looks great. The remote, timer and temperature setting are excellent features.I would recommend for large places that are being actively used to heat (Since you want it out of direct line of people, things, as it puts out some heat). We use the timer function so at worse case if the kid, or us, forget to turn it off, it will at least shut off after a set time.

Good energy efficient heater for most regular sized rooms
Found this infrared heater after researching it for my rooms with carpet, would recommend this heater to any regular roomPros:Value for money compared to other infrared heatersLow energy mode of 750W ( or may be 900W), even that low energy mode heats a large bedroom at ease within minutesIt gives my Dyson AM09 which is priced 6 times, the run for money and even beats it just based on heat output though AM09 has great design and featuresCan keep in carpet and felt safe alwaysNot that heavy to move around compared to other heaters in this segmentBased on me reaching out to seller, seller is good to work withCons:My family room has high ceiling (close to a cathedral ceiling) and extended kitchen area so this heater is not that effective in a very large space like that , frankly i dont expect it to be as even my home gas furnace heater or AM09 struggle to heat that area but still wanted to mention it in the review to set right expectation

keeps us warm, and does the job in cold weather clime.
So, the polar vortex came and went this winter. (15 degrees below where I live). Even though I live in a old kind of drafty house in the Midwest, this IR quartz heater did its job. It won't do your whole house, and we still needed our gas furnace for the rest of the house, but it did our front room where we sit for hours. This is a real world test.

Heats a 10' X 16" room very well
This little heater has been great so far. It has been in use for a couple of months, but not during a severe cold snap. I was surprised that something this size could heat that whole space all by itself. We have only had one overnight light freeze since it was purchased, so it has not been overly stressed. It did keep the space nice and toasty on that occasion though.

Great heater would buy again.
Great heater. As most reviews have stated there is a burnt smell in the beginning when turning on. It lasts for between three to five days, but does go away. I noticed some people returned this heater due to this. Other then this brief inconvenience it will heat a room really well. In fact so well I’ve often turned it off or all the way down because the room is too hot. Pretty quiet fan, lots of heat, good price.

Burning smell
It has a very strong burning smell when it is on (even after prolonged used). I stopped using it for now. I will turn it on at a well ventilated room and leave it on for a long duration, hopefully all the smell will burn off. I would give it a four stars if it does not have a burning smell. The heating elements and fan are very powerful and the thermostat is within calibration range.

Heats efficiently
This heater provides good coverage (in my case, 350 square foot area), plus exact temperature control via digital read out and remote control. It looks great as well. Very happy with this purchase.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER!
I stand by the following review I wrote previously. They sent me a new one because the first one was still under warranty. We had the second one barely a year and it just stopped working. Neither unit was used in any weird scenario or circumstance. It simply sits in the living room set on 66 or 67 degrees. It just stopped. So again I say...DO NOT BUY THIS HEATER!! The following was my first review: Just like so many of the other reviews state, it dies in less than 4 months! And they will not give a refund! It made a popping noise and quit working at 3 1/2 months. For this price it should last a couple years, not a couple months! Do not waste your money and risk your safety.
