It is always reassuring to see the UL rated sticker on anything electrical and this 6’ extension cord has it. I was surprised that the light was only on the 3 female receptacle end. I have another lighted extension cord that has led lights on both ends. I was also surprised to see that this cord was only rated at 15 amps instead of 20 amps. The wire on the inside is at least 12 gauge which should be sufficient to power 20 amps all day long. I hooked up my table saw and mitre saw to this cord and turned them both on at the same time and had absolutely no issues. This is a great cord and the end pieces are tough impact resistant plastic that will stand up to a lot of use. The yellow jacket covering the wire is also strong and flexible. This will come in handy with my home remodeling projects.

The cord is "UL Certified". While this makes no difference to the average user, it can create problems if it is used where government inspectors will be involved. A government inspector does not care if the product is able to handle the load, they only care what is printed on the wire and tag.I expect this cord to provide years of heavy use on my farm. I recommend the cord for applications where government inspectors will not be reading labels.

The lights help me in identifying the location of the plug. The extension cord is thick with a lower AWG number. It also offers a certain level of flexibility, allowing it to be bent when anyone needs to extend the cord in certain locations. It functions flawlessly without any problems and can handle up to 15 amps without any issues. I tested it with a pressure washer, and it performed well without any issues.

Some light is better than no light when it comes to finding a cord in the dark.Overall, this is a solidly made piece of kit that will stand up to being used and abused without complaint. If you need a pigtail triple tap cord, then take a look at this one.
