Good quality, heavy duty twine. No smell or weird feeling to it, just feels like solid cotton. I used it to make pumpkin shapes to my sourdough loaves and it worked well for that use. Just remember to oil your twine, as it is natural cotton so will leave tufts behind when you pull it away from your bread if you don't! My knots held well, it was thick but not too much for my use, and I can see myself using it for other recipes in the future!
