We bought these to test for an upcoming taco bar. What we found was if you are planning on holding this in one hand and a drink in the other you're likely to run into problems. There is very little torsion stability, so if they're loaded and not evenly balanced, gravity may very well twist them, like wringing out a rag...with the same results. We were really impressed that they could hold the weight of two tacos, beans and rice, and didn't leak or get soggy. They look nice, not too fancy, but there can be plenty of forgiveness because they're eco-frienly. We didn't consider doubling them up, that's a little too expensive for the purposes which we'd hoped to use them .

I was surprised any reviewers had said these plates were sturdy! They are far from it. We had to double up on plates for them to be usable. The cost was a little high to begin with, then take into consideration that you need 2 per person. They did look fantastic for our rustic outdoor wedding though!

They were thinner then I would have expected I had purchased these for a birthday party of my vegan and very earth friendly friend and thought this would be a nice added touch that fit her personality and the decor perfectly but sadly there were a few accidents due to plates being flimsy and i spentbthe extra on this brand because they looked more sturdy then others but I ended up with a huge mess and stained carpet because we had greasy taco meat bar with white carpet! Bummedbi had hoped these wpuld be a great alternative to the paperplates i use at home but they sewm to be.stronger! Very pretty looking though and would work great for salad bar or light desert plates for sure. I hate to give nit a great review because these are econfriendly but they just dont hold up in strength:( i will saybthey were much smoother and did not look like card board as did other compostable things ive tryed like bamboo and the ones made of dry leaves.

These plates were just all right. I won’t purchase them again. They are not as sturdy as I had hoped considering the type of food I was serving. At this particular event I served paella which is a heavy meal. This meal was too heavy for this plate. I thought the plate would cave in.Aesthetically, they were great!

The plates are very nice looking! My only concern is that more than a few had cracks in them. Overall pretty nice.

We use these for every event and never regret them. Great look, eco friendly, durable, and perfect size!
